This is biggest con business in Australia! Qantas is a disgusting appalling company. I lost count of how any times I got in contact, how many representatives I have spoken with, how many emails. My Qantas Frequent Flyer account somehow is registered as a staff account, and therefore the points do not get credited. I have told them one million times I do not work for Qantas, and never have! Still, they neglect my requests, no follow up, and my account is still not fixed after months! To make matters worse, when I contacted the staff reservations team, the rudest representative would not even listen to the issue saying I called the wrong number! Kept asking me for a staff number, but guess what, I DO NOT WORK FOR QANTAS!!! This airline is a joke! An absolute disgrace! Corrupt and incompetent bunch! You have ruined so many days of my holiday, disgraceful bastards!

Do not fly with them!

If possible, avoid flying with them! Their customer service is appalling! They offer empty apologies but no real help. I tried to upgrade my luggage online and was flatly denied. In the end, I had to pay an outrageous transportation fee at the local airport, which was four times the cost of the flight itself. For no valid reason! There's nothing you can do; they can push you around as much as they like in these situations.

Stay away from this airline

Fraudulent practices!

I wasted an hour trying to book flights, only for the app to crash and lose all my details. They still charged my card, and now I have to wait 7-10 days for a refund before I can afford to rebook, by which point ticket prices will have increased. UNACCEPTABLE!

A frustrating experience

We faced a huge hassle trying to book an extra seat for our long flight back. After purchasing and receiving confirmation, we found out our flight was canceled without any direct notification. My mother spent over an hour on the phone, being transferred from one person to another, with none of them able to help. We are extremely disappointed with the time wasted and the lack of communication, not to mention the services offered that turned out to be impossible. We won't be flying with them again and recommend others to think twice as well.

Highly unreliable

Very unreliable! They kept changing our flights, which affected our connections. Customer service was lacking. This is the worst airline experience I've had.

Not even worth one star

I wouldn't even give them one star. After being told our flight was canceled, which it wasn't, we had to book for the next day at a cost of $4000. They overbooked and charged us. It's lies after lies. I do not recommend this airline; they have truly fallen from grace.

If I could rate lower, I would

If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked a flight as a gift for my mother, they took the money and now claim there's no record of the booking. That's £1550 gone with nothing in return. While the customer service staff are pleasant, the overall service is a mess. It's shameful for what should be a top-tier airline.

Extremely poor customer service resolution

My wife was booked to fly from one location to another, with both sides arranged through their website. On the return leg, two flights were operated by another airline, and when the first leg was canceled, I contacted them for rebooking. Their customer care was dismissive, directing me to the other airline, which couldn't help either. The service I received from the other airline was excellent, while their approach was unhelpful and frustrating. They need to learn from their competitors. Shame on them!

A significant decline in service

I booked a flight from Sydney to London on New Year's Eve, with a scheduled stop in Singapore. Just before arriving in Singapore, we were informed of a 2-hour delay due to an incident with a catering truck. This decision prioritized a small group of passengers over hundreds, resulting in a total delay of 5 hours. This is by far the worst delay I’ve experienced with any airline. I would advise against flying with them.
