Absolutely disgusting resort. Villa verde resort cape verde. Let me explain. We arrived at 7pm.

Absolutely disgusting resort. Villa verde resort cape verde. Let me explain. We arrived at 7pm. The resort was in pitch black darkness. The power had gone off. All I wanted to do is check in after the 6 hour flight. We had booked the package holiday through tui. We asked the rude receptionist if we could check in. After a 2 hour debaracle the power came back on only to find the hotel would not let us check in as tui had not sent the hotel payment. At 10pm still waiting in the reception 2 off duty tui reps assisted but to no avail. In the end even though we had paid tui for the week we had to pay for the night.

Once we go in the room it was a disgusting mess. Words can not express what the pictures will stay.

My honest opinion is this is a shxt hole. And and I'm now trying to get back home.

You can't even give the hotel a 1 star.

20 Kingland Crescent Poole, BH15 1TB

We went to: the Tui shop 20 Kingland CrescentPoole, BH15 1TB. We've cruised 14 or 15 times with Tui now. Last year was on the Isla on the Rhine. That was superb. In the shop we were assisted by Matthew. He was clear, knowledgeable, and very helpful. I had looked online but hadn't spotted one of the cruises on the Danube. We really fancied that one so it's booked. We need to stay overnight at Gatwick and he booked that for us as well. As always from the Tui shop we had superb service. I much prefer dealing with a person than an AI bot. Please keep these shops open.

Tui house boat excursion in Goa ..

Tui house boat excursion in Goa ..This overnight excursion cost £162.00 pp This is what was advertised..TRIP - 2-DAY• Pass ancient villages, temples and dense forests as you cruise the backwaters of the River Aldona in a traditional Goan houseboat. As you sail, grab a drink from the bar, try your hand at fishing, or just sit back and enjoy the peace. Then, as the sun sets, there's a traditional dinner, live music and an overnight stay in a plush cabin onboard.• Hemmed in by jungle and mangrove forest it's teeming with wildlife here, so keep your eyes peeled for monkeys in the trees and crocs in the water. Gliding gently downstream, we'll stop for a spot of traditional fishing or if you prefer, just kick back, relax and admire the scenery.• Sunsets on the Aldona are nothing short of spectacular, so after toasting to one with a drink or two, you'll have dinner and watch some live music as the stars come out. Then bed down for the night in your fully air-conditioned cabin and you'll wake up to the chirping of birds on the riverbank. After breakfast, we sail back to jetty for your transfer back to the hotel What we got was unsafe / un hygienic and nothing like what was advertised..We arrived by taxi and was walked through what I can only describe as a building site with sand/ cement everywhere to a jetty with broken steps and a rickety handrail made of bamboo… we then got into a small boat tender to the overnight houseboat.. once on the boat for the first 3 hours their was no power for aircon /or charging points..the entertainment was late which made our meal late thus it being cold..whilst eating our meal a rat was seen and later a further rat was seen, the en suite 3 foot square with shower wasn’t fit for purpose. The wildlife apart from the rats was minimal.. I strongly advise against booking this trip. After complaining to the Rep in resort it he didn’t file a report so I wrote to Tui and complained on my return.. this is the response I got. I understand your excursion had safety issues with boat access, poor cabin and shower conditions, hygiene concerns including rats during meals, and the experience didn't match what was advertised.I'm genuinely sorry that your holiday experience was so far from what you deserved, and I truly regret the disappointment and concern this has caused you.Thank you for sharing this feedback with us. Please be assured that everything you've told us will be taken seriously and passed on to the relevant teams for their attention and review

Poor service from Tui

just returned from a holidays in Lanzarote with tui.Not impressed with the overall organisation at the airports. Jet 2 reps seemed organised and queues very small compared to Tui. Their reps were not interested in helping at the airports. The worst rep was Elaine at our hotel the Timanfaya Princess in Lanzarote. She was not helpful or interested, didnt give us correct information. She told us she had been with Tui a long time, perhaps too long as all she wanted to do was look at her laptop! The German lady was very helpful and came to us to ask if we had a good holiday and wish us a safe journey home. Elaine did NOT !!Going to book with JET 2 next time !!

Just want their pound of flesh

This company as severely gone down the pan, needed to cancel a holiday due to very valid and out of my control reasons, and was first off met with finding it hard as hell to cancel, then not only was the holiday over £1000 more expensive with them than other suppliers they wanted to charge over £400 to cancel over 200 days before departure in contradiction to their own terms and conditions they let you read. Soulless and just want to shafts you for all that they can get. I used to use Tui at least once a year, but the last couple of holidays with them were, terrible, one I nearly died and spent weeks in intensive care and hospital recovering and one that was terrible, and that was my honeymoon! This was a last chance for Tui, not content with near death and a ruined honeymoon they have treated what was a long standing faithful customer with contempt and just want their pound of flesh. Would definitely not recommend, run away don't walk!

No empathy …

Booked a holiday to Tenerife to celebrate my wife's 70th birthday January 2026. In October her brother was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. He was told that he probably won't live to see Xmas. He was homeless so he came to live with us. Xmas passed and he was still with us. We went to the local TUI Store to cancel the holiday knowing we would lose the money. The staff said to leave it with them to move the holiday to April to celebrate our Golden wedding. This was refused. We have been booking holidays with TUI for many years spending thousands of pounds but that counts as nothing to them. No empathy. Will never use TUI again.

We stayed in the Grand Excelsior…

We stayed in the Grand Excelsior Valletta Malta over the New Year period. It is listed as 5 star....it maybe used to be 5 star it certainly isnt now. We paid extra to have a Delux room, i would hate to see a standard room as it was shabby, dated and grubby. The food although a wide selection was more or less the same each evening. I ended up being violently ill over a three day period i had only eaten at the hotel.

AVOID USING TUI ❌❌

AVOID USING TUI ❌❌What me and my partner thought would be a dream holiday!! We want to make others aware of our horrific holiday. In relation to a 14-night holiday at the Bahia Principe Grand Punta Cana, Dominican Republic which was booked as a five-star package holiday directly with TUI.From the very first night of our stay, we experienced extremely serious issues. We woke to bites all over our bodies and blood left on the bed sheets. And the bed frame was coverd in small black marks which we think was bed bug poo. It was clear the room was infested with bed bugs. This was reported to the TUI representative, yet we remained in this room for two nights, during this time we continued to be bitten from head to toe.We were eventually moved to another room; however, this room also showed clear signs of infestation, including black bugs under the mat on the dressing table and all over the balcony. We have photo evidence of all this and we visited our doctor on teturn and he confirmed bed bugs. This issue was raised again, particularly after my daughter spoke with a TUI representative at Merry Hill, who advised that we should be moved to an alternative hotel as the situation was wholly unacceptable.Despite this, the on-site TUI representative stated that a hotel move was not possible and no further action was taken. We felt unsupported and left in accommodation that was unhygienic and unsuitable. In addition to the above, the hotel did not meet five-star standards. Staff were rude. Ignorant and very miserable. There were persistent queues for meals and snacks, hot meals were regularly served cold, and the snack bar frequently ran out of food before we reached the front of the queue. The lack of facilities and poor service significantly impacted the quality of our holiday. We reported a leak from the air-conditioning coming from the ceiling this was also reported but not dealt with.As a result of these issues, our holiday was completely ruined. We spent the majority of the trip distressed, uncomfortable, and anxious due to the bed bug infestation, and left with bites covering our bodies. This falls far below the standards expected of a TUI package holiday and constitutes a failure to provide services with reasonable care and skill under the Package Travel Regulations. To further compound this experience, the night before our return flight we was sent an email saying we wasnt flying with Tui it would be privilege style on behalf of Tui airways even though the Tui crew and all the Tui amenities will be the same on the new flight. It clearly wasn't. Most of the crew couldn't speak English we were only offered 2 drinks the whole 9 hour flight and given a small paper cup. The food wasn't to Tui standards either and no duty free. We wasn't given our correct paid booked seats and was separated. People were given B seats and this flight had no. B seats so this meant B seat people were sitting any where and this coursed arguments and anger between people. We have taken this complaint to Tui but been shrugged of and offered a good will gesture of £150 which is disgusting.I definitely will not be using TUI moving forward
