We are very happy with the new roof. The salesman Paul and Paul were very knowledgeable and professional. The installation was great, the team was great, very responsive to questions; brought things to my attention.
I felt really bad that the insulation crew had to shovel the snow off of the roof before they could start work. There was a lot more Plywood damage that was found than first thought of. They took care of the damage replacing all the plywood with new even reflashed around the chimney and I’m very happy with the way things look. Ridge Vent goes along the whole roof, which is a big plus. The look of the roof is aesthetically pleasing and I like the fact that it’s guaranteed for 30 years for any kind of issues.

Given time when the project would begin, Crew showed up bright and early. No hesitation started right away, precise and professional. Extreme coordination Made quick work of stripping the old roof ,and preparation for the NEW. Upon completion the new roof looked great, and the crew cleaned up as if they were never here.. Would recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof.

First, the company rep went on Xmas holiday (2024) before submitting my order for an asphalt roof. He promised me upgraded (top rated) wrap under the shingles. And, underneath the wrap, I was supposed to get new wooden decking. I got neither. I got basic wrap and three 3x5 sheets of plywood only Those three sheets were to cover the holes in the roofline for prior ventilation.
Because my house is on a steep hill, they could not get the debris bin close to the house and had to drag the old shingles off on tarps. Needless to say, the help was not careful in the removal process and numerous nails and bits of asphalt shingles were found all over. They were to remove the wrecked gutter system as well. So they removed the trays and left all the downspouts - no one came to the door to ask if that was sufficient or if I wanted it all to come down. My understanding prior to job start - everything would be removed.
I caught the workers before they left and had them replace the wood work on the front porch roof that they had torn off by accident.
They left the building permit up on my deck railing, and no one ever came by to review it. Finally, after two weeks passed, I took it down and drove it to city hall where I found the job was listed as successfully completed. I asked how that happened and the woman behind the desk said it was probably reviewed from the street and approved. I said thanks and left. Meant to say, "Thanks for nothing and your permitting process is a bad joke..."
Honestly, I feel like I got screwed over. Gave them a $5000. check to start the job, then got noticed by their finance company "Watercress" to start paying $22,800. at 11%, at job completion. I wasn't quick enough and had to pay $23,684. in August 2025. At just under $29,000. for a simple shingle roof, I feel like I've been robbed. Twenty years ago the same level of materials and installation cost me $2,600!!
Erie, don't bother trying to address my complaints. I view it as a hard lesson learned. Still finding old roofing nails...
Edit: the job was completed 2/3/2025, not 2/3/2026. Can't get the date to update beyond month and day.

We recently had our roof installed by Erie Home, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every step of the process.
During the installation, they discovered some underlying damage and addressed it promptly and thoroughly, which gave us great peace of mind. The crew was respectful of our property, worked efficiently, and maintained a clean and organized job site throughout the project.
After the installation, they completed a thorough cleanup, leaving our yard spotless. We even appreciated being left with the unused materials. The quality of workmanship is excellent, and our new roof looks amazing.
We highly recommend Erie Home to anyone looking for reliable service, professional crews, and high-quality roof installation.

My experience with Erie Homes has been pleasant and without the usual sales pressure that comes with people trying to sale you something. They listened to my needs and explained the various products they use and took the time to answer all my questions no matter how many times I asked them. The employees are very knowledgeable about the products they use and answered multiple questions on quality and durability of the various shingle types. Because I live in a hurricane prone area of the gulf coast and have already had to have roof repair due to damage and leaking, I chose to replace my existing roof with a high quality metal roof that is warranted for 50 years. Erie Homes coordinated with the solar panel company to make the roof replacement quick and they cleaned up everything when they left. Their employees even replaced water damaged areas of my roof during the new roof installation. I highly recommend this company to anyone with roofing needs.
