Setup Challenges with the Lock Ultra Touch Combo

I really want to appreciate the Lock Ultra Touch Combo, but the setup hasn't been the straightforward experience I anticipated. If you're in a townhouse with an older door like mine, expect some additional effort. The main challenge is the mounting bracket; my original keys simply won't fit. To resolve this, I'll need to visit a locksmith to modify my keys to a compatible style. Additionally, once the lock is in place, a key will remain in the hole permanently, meaning I won't have access to a physical key from the outside anymore. Because of this, I’m waiting for someone to assist me with testing the Keypad Touch codes. I’m hesitant to risk being locked out if the fingerprint or code doesn't work right away! I haven't completed the installation yet due to these logistical issues, but I'm hopeful that once the locksmith is sorted, the daily convenience will outweigh these initial challenges.

Order Delays and Poor Communication

I placed an order three weeks ago and have had zero updates or correspondence despite all items being in stock at the time. I submitted a ticket ten days ago for an update, but after a long wait, the reply simply stated they might ship my order soon. I've been unable to cancel the order due to their lack of communication.

Struggling to Get a Refund

I returned my items on June 26, 2025, expecting a prompt refund to my bank account. After numerous follow-ups, I finally received a message on August 17, 2025, stating there was a system error preventing the refund. They asked for my PayPal account instead. As of September 3, 2025, I still haven't received my money.

Quality Product, Be Patient with Shipping

Patience is required for shipping times, which may take several weeks. However, the product is excellent. I purchased multiple roller shades, and they work perfectly. They initially forgot to include the solar charger, but customer support quickly resolved that issue. I'm pleased with my experience.

This device is compact, convenient, and cleans exceptionally well. The software is adaptable to my living space. A tip for setting up the 'No-go Zone' (minimum 10x10cm) or 'Virtual Wall' (10cm thick) during the initial setup is helpful. The support team is responsive, and delivery was fast and efficient.
