It is my own fault, I will take blame for not reading the fine print and doing more research. But the tickets that I purchase to a show on Vancouver Island, were selling face value for $35 at the door or or $30 advance purchase. I did see that the price was more as I was searching for tickets and thought like everything else in this world prices are rising but this was to the extreme!! The fact that this company is absolutely abusing ticket prices and scamming artists is outrageous! I was charged $169 per ticket in US funds for these tickets!! My credit card was charged just over $600 for two tickets that should have only cost me $70!!!! Again my fault? Yes the whole buyer beware thing, but I will never recommend this site, never use this site again, and these people should be ashamed of themselves for charging that much money it's disgusting. The artist probably gets $0 of that profit 😡😡😡😡
I searched for tickets online and this site was the first result. Unfortunately, I went ahead and purchased tickets from them. Later, I discovered that the tickets were still available at face value, which was significantly less than what I paid. It feels like I was taken advantage of, and I realize now that search engines often promote these middlemen.
They charge excessively! For 10 tickets, the cost is $433, while the official site offers the same tickets for $122. How is it possible that these sellers are listed officially? They are charging customers nearly 300% more than the original price!
It's hard to understand how many people are unaware of the issues with this website, and it's shocking that it continues to operate. Even the venue is aware of it and seems indifferent. I recently purchased tickets for a musical for $230, only to discover that the two individuals beside me got theirs for $120 through another platform. That's a $110 markup for the same seats! I'm extremely frustrated and believe this site should be shut down.
The concert was rescheduled, and both the ticketing service and the venue provided refund options. Unfortunately, this company did not assist us. Their customer service was terrible. We cannot attend the new date, which is why we requested a refund. Now, we are left with a significant financial loss.
I spent $62.40 on a ticket through a marketplace. I received an email from the service stating that I could access my ticket for the event. However, when I arrived, there was no ticket in my email. Instead, it directed me to show my ticket via a different app. Unfortunately, the app never loaded the ticket, despite being installed. I was left outside in the cold, denied entry to the event I had paid for. This feels like a complete scam, as I initially purchased my ticket from the service, only for them to redirect me to another platform that wouldn’t grant me access.
Terrible experience! I realized that I had been severely overcharged for the tickets. I bought insurance since I was no longer going to go to the event and was told that there were no refunds due to my reason. DO NOT BUY YOUR TICKETS from Event Tickets Center. You are getting ripped off!
