Got me on a gift card scam from Planet Fitness. Tried to use the gift card as their video shows...of course, I ended up being charged for something that the gift card should have covered 100%.
Bad trust.
I will never buy anything from this company again and will not recommend them to anyone based on my recent experience. I was part of the VIP program and discovered I had a credit, but I was unaware of its amount and that it would expire after a certain time—buyer beware! There’s a reason this company faces multiple class action lawsuits; practices like this are why. I was informed that my money cannot be refunded as it has expired. Who knew that money could expire? They even stated they couldn’t issue a check, leaving me with no way to retrieve the funds I paid without receiving a service in return. They generously offered me a $10 credit for the $119.90 I spent! Their customer support has been unhelpful, and this entire situation has taught me to avoid online monthly programs altogether.
Tariff charges are being added to the end of the sales receipt, with $3.75 applied to each item at checkout. There is a minimal comment about this in the terms and conditions, which is obscured by other signs at the register. When I inquired about the mention of these charges in the store, I was met with threats of involving security. This was an unpleasant experience and feels like an unethical way to overcharge customers.
Finding items on this website is quite challenging. It also feels like a scam. How can I be charged real money if my unused credits expire after a year? This seems unfair. I demand a refund for all the credits I've purchased.
The service is quite frustrating as they lure you in with offers for '10 dollar items' but then end up charging you 70 dollars. I attempted to cancel my membership three times before it was finally processed, and that only happened after the 70 dollar payment was already completed.
One item in my bag showed available however when I went to check out I was made to remove it, system saying it was unavailable. I attempted several times to purchase the item as it showed available at that specific item until I checked out. Disappointed I was not able to get it
