I signed up for a “trial” for R19 to access landlord/agent contacts.Shortly after, FindAllRentals (appearing as “RENTOLA* FINDALL” on my statement) charged R750 without my consent. The company provides no clear way to cancel, and customer service is unresponsive.I had to dispute the charge with my bank to try and recover the money with no luck. This feels unfair and deceptive — be careful if you consider using this service.
Firstly I still cannot believe there is customer service that is this excellent, the response was not not robotic but humane,thoughtful..I requested a cancelation on my account as a first timer,by right they had right to charge my card as I had agreed to the conditions (which i unfortunately did not read through)I reached out to support and was swiftly responded to by a lovely lady by the name Sabrine😊Needless to say,she explained fully how the plans work but exempted me from paying what I was supposed to pay.she paid attention to my situation and I am beyond grateful.Restored my hope in Customer Service and Support
1/5 Stars (If zero were an option, that's what they'd deserve)Findallrentals.co.za is nothing short of a criminal enterprise masquerading as a rental search platform. They lure victims in with deceptive ads promising access to landlord details for a mere R19 "7-day trial," only to slam you with unauthorized R750 monthly charges through hidden auto-renewals that are buried in vague terms—if they're disclosed at all. I fell for it, cancelled immediately after realizing the scam, but they still deducted the full amount, claiming a "pre-cancellation renewal" with zero evidence or transparency.Their listings are outright fraudulent: properties stolen verbatim from legitimate agencies like Leapfrog Property Group, complete with photos and descriptions, without permission—leading to scam alerts from those very companies. Many "rentals" don't even exist, designed solely to phish for personal info and trap you into subscriptions. Customer "support" is a joke—generic emails, no phone lines, and stonewalling on refunds, often requiring relentless badgering for even partial "goodwill" returns.Trustpilot and HelloPeter are littered with horror stories: low trust scores (as low as 1.4/5), accusations of false advertising, and violations of South Africa's Consumer Protection Act through misleading practices and unauthorized debits. This isn't incompetence; it's deliberate theft targeting vulnerable South Africans in a tough housing market. Avoid at all costs—report them to the NCC, and stick to reputable sites like Property24 or Private Property to spare yourself the financial and emotional nightmare.
EXACTLY the same happened to me, and I cnacelled on day 7 and day 8 they took he money out of my account, I suggest we all report them to the False Advertising Commission....someone need to do something before more people fall for this crap adverts, and that would be me, I did it with a cellphone network and won, I am going to do the same to them now. They not getting away with it this time, it's just a ponzi money making scheme and then they tell me.on mail they will not stand for accusations like this....whatever
I got scammed, what ever you do, do not sign up. You'll pay R19 and will suddenly have R750 taken from your account on the seventh day that was supposed to be part of the trial period. The don't make it clear that they will automatically take your money or how much they will take. Update: I have been constantly emailing them refusing to accept that they didn't steal my money, they got so tired of me they gave me a 50% "goodwill refund". If you got scammed like me, don't stop demanding a refund. New update: Dear findallrentals, just because you gave me 50% of my money back does not mean I am happy with the rest of my money being stolen. Nearly every single review states that you are scammers, maybe it's time to stop and see that you are the problem and everyone you have scammed knows it.
