Had an amazing week with Sean and Alicia. From the moment we got picked up at the airport everything

Had an amazing week with Sean and Alicia. From the moment we got picked up at the airport everything ran so well. Their ability to gauge what the group would like to do on a given day and to adjust schedule according to weather and their local knowledge is amazing! From our first run near Cassis and down onto a stoney beach straight out of a scene from ‘The Talented Mr Ripley’ to our big event running the Trail Des Maures & and boat trip to local islands - everything was amazing.
The food, the accommodation, and the scenery are unreal.

We started out early on the Saturday to make our way to Collobrieres , a picturesque French mountain side village. It was here that the The Trail Des Maures set out from… and what a race it was!!!
Starting through the village, running with the sound of alpine cow bells from local supporters , we set off up the mountains. I ran the 32km route and it was an exceptional challenge. A great mix of woodland, farmland, rocky technical terrain and plenty of ascents and descents - over 1,700km of elevation gain!!! I loved it but it was definitely the toughest race Ive ran but so worth it!
We celebrated with a post race beer and some lovely food from Alicia that was set up at the foot of a stone bridge next to the river running through the village.

Back to HQ then to relax and recover in the pool and sauna - a perfect day!

2024: When we arrived in France for the first time and meet Sean, Alicja and the other participants

2024: When we arrived in France for the first time and meet Sean, Alicja and the other participants we immediatly got immerged into a fantastic trail vacation. Directly from the Airport we drove to the beach to have a really memorable 6hours Run/Climb alongside the cliffs. A great intro into some really challenging but also entertaining Trailventures (incl. Speedboating, SUP, Diving, etc.). The evenings were filled with carbo loading, lots of laughing, some Yoga, enjoying the pool and Sauna - what else can you ask for??! We had quite a broad range of runners with us, no one was left behind but also no one complained not to be challenged at the end of the trip :-)

2025: For this trip I even convinced a non-trail-running friend to join us. Sean organized a participation in a 17 or 26k Trail race and our complete team had a blast and finished successfully. The race was embedded by some really nice trail runs alongside the coast and the "usually" fantastic logistical and culinary efforts by Alicja and Sean.

If you wanna enjoy a well-organized "training camp" organized by really experienced hardcore-trail runners with a ton of passion - Go for it!! Strong recommendation.

You will have no regrets booking with Eat Sleep Trail Run

I had the BEST trail running weeeknd in the South of France with Eat Sleep Trail Run. Going on the trip alone I initially felt a bit anxious about whether I'd get on ok with the others on the trip and whether I'd be able to keep up with them when running....there was nothing to worry about! The welcoming atmosphere that Seanie and Alicja create put me right at ease. They kept us all really well fed with delicious fresh healthy food, brought us out on beautiful trails and regularly checked in to make sure everyone was ok. The house is lovely, the beds comfortable and the Sauna was the cherry on top. As for the others who booked on the same trip...absolute gems, all of them....my legs were tired but so were my abs from laughing !I came back from the trip with more motivation for running, feeling stronger and inspired....if you are thinking about booking a trip, do! It's great value and you will have no regrets.

life changing experience ❤️❤️

Eatsleeptrailrun What can I say Wow!!! Such an amazing experience to be wined and dined. The food was out of this world. We literally walked to the breakfast table in our pyjamas, chilled in Seanie and Alicijas home. You know that feeling when you don't know somebody and you are in their home, well this was like home so relaxing and easy going. They prepared everything, joined us on every run (which were incredibly fun and breathtaking)On the first night Alicija suggested we all say a small piece about ourselves around the dinner table I'm quite shy and reserved in these situations but to listen to incredible stories 🥰It also made me look into my life and reflect on why I run. I'm always trying to keep myself busy. Don't get me wrong being a single mum of 3 is incredibly busy but it made me stop to think I'm avoiding the loneliness of it all.Not only did I experience a trip of a lifetime, meet extraordinary people, friends for life but I found myself and I understand myself a little more in this crazy world. To laugh and just unwind without a care in the world,it's therapy at its best!Unbelievable experience with two epic people..so kind Seanie and Alicija see you soon for more adventures ❤️

I had the most incredible stay at eat sleep trail running

I had the most incredible stay at Eatsleeptrailrun in France. I was honestly a little nervous beforehand because I’m not a very experienced trail runner, but I needn’t have worried at all. it truly caters for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned runners. The atmosphere was so welcoming and supportive. The location is absolutely stunning, the perfect backdrop for trail running and switching off from everyday life. And the food… just unreal. Every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared, and plentiful. Everything was taken care of so I could simply focus on running, eating, resting and enjoying the experience. If you’re even slightly considering it, book it. An unforgettable experience that I’d recommend in a heartbeat

Incredible Weekend of Trails

Incredible Weekend of Trails, Friends & Fun!I just got back from the Feb Midterm 26 trail running getaway organised by Eat Sleep Trail Run, what a weekend! From start to finish it was one of the best experiences I’ve had as a runner.🌄 The trails in the South of France were absolutely stunning — rolling hills, panoramic views and a real sense of adventure in every run. The itinerary was well-balanced with runs that tested all levels.🎉 What really set this weekend apart was the atmosphere. The group was such a fun, supportive bunch — we shared laughs during recovery evenings, great conversations over delicious group dinners and drinks.🍽️ The food was excellent and the inclusion of recovery tools — from compression boots to Sauna — made the whole experience feel truly all-inclusive. I felt refreshed and rejuvenated, despite the kms on my legs. 🙏 Massive thanks to the hosts — Sean and Alicja — for their energy, organisation and genuine care for everyone’s experience. They made all the difference and created an adventure I’ll treasure.Would absolutely recommend this to any trail runner looking to mix good company with great running in an amazing location!

Trail Running Weekend

I am just after returning from the trail Running weekend in the South of France and it was an amazing trip. All the planning was done for us.Even prior to arriving Sean told us what flights to book. He even told us what to bring and pack for the weekend. We were picked up at the airport so I didn't have to worry about transfers. When we arrived I didn't even have to bring in my bag. Sean and Alicja done everything. Dinner was served up to us and then we were given a brief outline what was ahead of us. All levels of running were catered for. There were 12 of us in this group. Some people in the group didn't know anyone so you could go there as a solo traveller or as a group. The food was amazing. All food, snacks, beverages and alcohol were included. There is a beautiful pool and sauna there. The scenery while running was amazing. Our accommodation was in a beautiful quite little village. It has 1 shop, 1 church, 1 restaurant and 1 bar. I am a busy mum of 3 young children and work full time so to go out here doing what I love -running and not have to think about anything and meals served up to me was heaven. The standard of the food is really high. Everything is homemade high quality. I will be back
