Similar to a previous comment, while trying to download a parking app in the rain, I unintentionally authorized a $0.9 charge, not realizing the repercussions. I thought I was dealing with the parking service directly, not a third party. The initial charge was for $0.9 for about 15 minutes of parking. However, on the day I signed up, I was charged $0.9, and the next day, I was hit with a $45 fee. Now I am attempting to recover all my funds, excluding the first $0.9. I reached out to the company, and they informed me that I should have read the terms before agreeing to the payment, and they cannot provide a refund. Additionally, I did not receive any receipts. This definitely feels like a SCAM, taking advantage of honest mistakes. I have reported this to my bank as fraudulent activity, hoping it will prevent others from falling victim.
As mentioned in another review, while trying to download a parking app in the rain, I accidentally authorized a $0.9 payment without realizing the consequences. I thought I was dealing directly with the parking company, but the name was different. I parked for about 15 minutes and was charged $0.9, but the next day I was hit with a $45 charge. I've contacted the company to request a refund for everything except the initial $0.9, but they said I should have read the agreement before authorizing the payment and cannot issue a refund. I also didn’t receive any receipts. This feels like a SCAM service taking advantage of mistakes. I've reported this as fraudulent activity to my bank, hoping to help others avoid this issue.
Like many others, I didn't realize this wasn't a parking app until I saw a $28.90 charge on my bank statement. I'm furious at how these scammers disrupt daily life and cause distress. I've informed my bank that I never authorized any subscription for this service while trying to pay for parking; now I might be fined.
I feel foolish; I was signing up for a parking app and got misled into thinking this provider was part of the process. After entering my card details, it was too late. I immediately requested cancellation via email, but they couldn't locate my account and asked for my card details again. This is outrageous, especially since I used a payment service that should prevent such deceit.
I currently have £30 in recurring charges on my bank account via a visa payment that I did not authorize. The initial payment was for £0.60, and then the other charges began. Do not unsubscribe through their website, as it will worsen the issue. They are complete fraudsters.
I went to download a parking app and accidentally clicked a link that looked legitimate. I was charged £0.60 without thinking much of it. The next day, they attempted to charge my card £29.99. Luckily, my card provider caught it and stopped the transaction. I never signed up for anything. A lesson learned: avoid downloading apps while out; do it at home when you can better monitor the situation. AVOID.
