This Service is a Total Scam

As noted by others, this is a complete scam. They claim to be 'at terminal' in Liberia, but are actually off-site. We were forced to buy insurance even though we had our own. They modified the daily rate we booked. Stay away from this service!

Duped at Malaga Airport

Like many others, I rented a car at Malaga airport and was tricked into paying for extra insurance when I already had coverage. After returning home, I disputed the charge on my credit card and had to call the agent at Malaga airport to argue the matter! This was a serious invasion of privacy! When I asked what additional coverage the extra insurance provided, he couldn’t answer. We were only charged upon returning the car, so what was the purpose of that insurance? It seemed designed to prevent any disputes at drop-off. Fortunately, I have since been reimbursed. Be cautious; service agents earn commissions on extra insurance and will do everything to pressure you into signing. This seems to be a common issue with this provider, as I have never encountered this before. Lesson learned: pay with a credit card, avoid certain companies, stand your ground, read the fine print, and inquire about what you are actually signing.

After finally locating the office (no signs in the airport), it was closed, directing customers to another provider. The staff there treated us poorly, mocking our reservation and pressuring us into additional insurance. Car rentals seem to be a highly organized scam.

Arrival at Hertz

Upon arriving at Hertz, which operates for the service, I was told I probably didn't read the fine print and that the terms had changed. I was asked to pay a €3500 deposit when my original agreement was £1300. I didn’t have that credit limit available. The entire experience was incredibly stressful! They insisted on charging €450 for in-house insurance, which I didn’t need since I had third-party coverage. I refused to pay the €250 they demanded. Ultimately, I had to pay €2000 for a car that fell short of my expectations. Very poor service.

It's a Scam

It's a scam. Avoid renting a car with this service. I booked online for a reasonable price plus full coverage insurance. The contract stated that taxes, fees, and mandatory coverage in Mexico were included. However, upon arrival, they started adding various fees: VAT, fuel, airport fee, vehicle license fee, transaction fee, etc. They also claimed that the insurance I paid for was not valid in Mexico, and I had to purchase new insurance and a deposit. Instead of paying $40 for the rental, I ended up paying $400 plus a $300 deposit, and I was charged for $100 I didn't even use. Normally, I would have walked away from this, but at that moment, they took advantage of our situation.

Only One Thing to Say

I can only say this: 'Worst car rental experience ever.' The service is pushing full insurance, disregarding credit card validity, and aggressively upselling. They add on insurance costs that they pocket. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! You will end up disappointed!

Do Not Rent from This Service

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this provider. I had a prepaid reservation and canceled it two weeks prior, qualifying for a full refund. Five weeks have passed since my cancellation, and I still have not received my money. I am now contacting both the provider and my credit card company to resolve this issue. It’s frustrating to have to spend time chasing a refund I am clearly entitled to. This company needs to improve its honesty and responsiveness, as my experience indicates they currently lack both.
