Fishdom used to be a charming, relaxing escape, but recent changes have turned it into a cash hungry grindfest.First off, the Season Pass price hike is outrageous. A 50% increase with no substantial improvement in rewards? That’s pure greed. Instead of adding value, they’ve added cost and it’s a slap in the face to loyal players.Worse, they’ve nerfed the boosters. What used to help you enjoy and clear challenging levels now barely makes a dent. It feels deliberat as if they’re forcing you to spend just to maintain the same level of fun.And don’t even think about buying diamonds. The moment you do, the game magically becomes insanely difficult. You’ll burn through all those diamonds just to clear a single level and be left frustrated, not entertained. It’s predatory design at its worst.Overall, Fishdom has lost its heart. The joyful, casual vibe is gone replaced by manipulative tactics and aggressive monetization. What was once a favorite has now become a textbook example of how to ruin a good game for profit.Avoid it unless you enjoy being squeezed dry.
After I purchased the purple diamonds the game makes it impossible to complete a board and uses all the diamonds right away! This is unfair and I won’t be spending more money on this game !!! This is the 3rd time this has happened! The little squids were supposed to pop up on board to compete but none were coming up making it impossible to complete! This is a scam !!! Siphoning money from the players!
The most recent update has in my opinion utterly destroyed the game. It went from a fun free to play game where you could spend a relatively small amount of currency to have a meaningful impact to now it's barely free to play and you need to spend currency to complete basic levels that you certainly could have completed for free before. I have been on fishdom for over 5 years I've completed all over 16,000 levels and some 50 levels are added every few days to a week and I've completed most of them as well up until recently. Up until recently I had several hundred of the in-game currency diamonds along with dozens of the in-game boosters to help you in difficult levels. The most recent update has completely drained the in-game currency resulting for the first time and literally years being stuck and unable to play the game unless I spend currency which at this point I will absolutely never do again. The update then took away a previously earned or purchased booster completely I don't even understand how it is legal to take something away that people had earned or actually paid for. The customer service has always been atrocious but I assume that came with the nearly free to play game that to its credit has no ads. The last one to two updates prior to this one change the game negatively as well they made it from a game where you could play at 15 minutes here and there to where they heavily rewarded you for playing hours at a time and then essentially punished you for playing here and there I have hated this but since I completed all the levels I tried to change my gameplay to somewhat benefit the new way the opposite up I no longer wish to do this I can no longer stand this app it is extremely disappointing what they have done.
greed ruined the game. its virtually imposible to pass a level without buying. used to be enjoyable. and they shortened the season pass. i predict they will have to go cancel the game. because people will catch on and not play like me. bought a season pass and two days later season was over...im not a sucker.
This game was fun in the beginning, but once you get to a certain level, you are forced to buy or use all power-ups. This is not a game, only a money trap. Hoping someone files a class action against companies like this. Not fun when you are forced to spend money in order to advance. Pitiful, save your time and dont waste it on this game.
The most recent update, without warning, has resulted in a major decrease in play time, less rewards, a hike in costs and the removal of Fishdom friends, some of which Ihave had for years.. The game has lost it's pleasure as many stages are so difficult but you don't have the lives to complete the level and it can take days.
This used to be a really good game. They have reduced the moves reduced the boosters and putting prices up regularly. It’s no fun anymore and too difficult to pass levels unless you spend money. They don’t care about the consumers. They just want more money, they have just got greedy.
Lost count of times I have had to report level crashes and bugs. Upgrades have made progress impossible without purchasing boosters/diamonds, and they’ve done two things recently which have massively ticked me off to the point of seriously considering deleting the app (after loyally reaching well passed level 16,000!) They’re charging more for boosters, and those boosters deliver less - eg bombs don’t include lightning!!!! On top of the fact that they’ve made so many levels and challenges literally impossible without boosters, I’m raging … and not alone judging by this forum’s feedback. “Help & Support” are helpless and unsupportive too, enough said 😡
