Unethical business practices. I don't care how good anyone thinks the app is, their way of getting subscriptions is extremely manipulative and very much like a scam. I fell for the £1 free trial. It was so difficult to work out how to cancel that I cancelled the subscription through my bank. Somehow they have still managed to take the payment two weeks later. AVOID!
Found Flo helpful when trying to conceive which I did successfully however, I sadly ended up losing my baby at 6 months pregnant and there was no way for the app to acknowledge that I had been pregnant without getting to term. When I started using it again to track my periods after the birth it kept saying my last cycle was extremely long when it wasn’t I was just pregnant. Having the option for this and to include the bleeding after pregnancy would be good. As it is the app isn’t overly flexible and could use improvements, I will however be continuing to use for ovulation tracking when I am ready to try again.
Honestly a little underwhelming by this app. Great for tracking periods and sometimes I feel like I have a better understanding of myself. However it is lacking so many features, here’s a few which I have noticed. Unable to log surgery’s or medical issues that can change your period, this leaves useless notifications predicting pregnancies etc and I am unable to explain to the app why it is late or irregular. Then something as simple as a plan b can’t be added which is known for causing irregular periods. I just feel like the app is working against me in these times of need.I would love if these issues could be looked into, so people can get the most out of this app. This is also why I am not renewing my subscription because the app doesn’t work with me.
