Gave me some bad advice , regards a letter I should write to a hospital and give them 30 days to respond,the hospital have said that because I had no right to send a letter like that they have decided to have no more contact with me,the solicitors have now ruined the any chance I had of any help I could of had requarding an operation on my hand that I did not consent to ,being solicitors that deal with medical negligence they should know that a hospital has up to 6 months to answer letters ,so thanks a lot ,where do I turn now .
Massively disappointing that after 8 months of working on the sale of my property we received confirmation from Forbes that everything was in place to complete. Then at the eleventh hour when we were in the process of agreeing a completion date, they realised that they had provided incorrect documentation. To exacerbate matters, we were able to return new signed documents within two days, whilst Forbes still don’t have the documentation completed. Hugely annoying that such a rudimentary error could have occurred and even more disappointing that urgent steps have not been taken to rectify. My transaction is on the verge of falling through and Forbes just don’t seem to care.19/04 updateThree weeks later and Forbes remain unresponsive, still haven’t rectified their error and have tried to claim this is not a genuine case. Thanks to Trust Pilot for collecting my evidence. My mortgage offer expires in two weeks so will be interesting to see what action Forbes take.
I contacted Forbes regarding a potentially complicated trespass case and wanted to enquire if they had a lawyer with the correct skills to deal with my case. I didn’t get past the receptionist and was told they wanted £1,250.00 plus vat paid in advance before I could even talk to one of their solicitors. Wasn’t asking for advice, just wanted to know if they were capable of handling the case.Very poor customer service for a firm that claims to be an award winning firm of solicitors. I went to one of their competitors and got great advice.
I can honestly say that my experience with solicitor Lisa Atkinson has been so professional, informative, a common sense approach and really knowledgeable. ***** DO NOT TRUST LEE ANNA PENDLBURY @ FORBES WHO DESCRIBES HERSELF AS ... QUOTE A FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ! *****obviously has aspirrations of working as a dominatrix , however i submit to nobody .... Ihave been selling a property recently , and guess what unbeknown to me forbes solicitors had put a charging order on my property ! they had even made a ccj against me wich i was never told about nor was i served papers to this effect i hadnt even received letters from anyone nor A BILL , of copurse at the time when i used forbes it was to purchas a considerable amount of land near the forest of bowland however the deal fell through i hadf p[reviously been quoted around 6 to 7 hundred pounds for the work wich was fine , i asked them to send a bill and nothing ever came infact lots of diffrent thing never came , i explained to forbes that on multiple occasions i lodged complaints with the gpo , the police banks you name it and that i would be happy to pay the bill price i was quoted as i had been a victim of organised criminal activity or mail magicly dissapearing , however this woman who called me of a mobile phone niot the bl;ackburn office number you expect from a law proffesional also she emails me from a mobile phone wich io find suspicious insists that i have to pay costs of £871.92 and £234.00 not the price i was quoted this woman ios obviously involved in some very dubious outside work dealings , and as this has been occuring with lots of tthings and was invbestigated its well out of order ! i am presuming there are some back hander going on here and if she doesnt like me to call her dishonneast and a scammer , i challenge her to stopp me , she can take legal action if iam wrong ... the main point is , thease solicitors can not be trusted they wont defend someone whos a paying customer who they didnt even send a bill !
