Don't set up a plan with Fraser Plus!!
I ordered a football top for my daughter but didn't receive one confirmation email to say that the transaction had gone through and therefore a week later when I was wondering where the delivery was, and I couldn't find a confirmation email, I re-ordered the top!
Both did not arrive in time for Christmas day for my daughter and then after sending the original one back for a full refund, Sports Direct declined the refund and sent the top back!
This is completely unfair as I would not have ordered a second top, had I seen correspondence that the first order was received and being processed!
I have never before given a Trustpilot review but for Frasers Plus I must warn others not to use this credit service agency. I bought a coat in December and returned it a week later, and had only paid one instalment to FrasersPlus. My "refund" was supposedly issued to me on 3 January but never received. Initially when I reached out, they said I needed to go directly to the vendor (Frasers), but obviously Frasers said this was a Frasers Plus issue, which was worrying in itself. Finally, when I reached out a second time, Frasers Plus said that because of the card I used (a normal Barclays debit card) they needed to get another department involved to issue the refund. So essentially had I not reached out they would never have refunded the amount to my bank account. Only now that I've raised a complaint do I seem to be getting more traction, but still no refund -- in fact, I've been told that I need to pay £5 to "clear my balance", whatever that means. Anyway, do not use Frasers Plus - just because it appears to be tied to House of Fraser does not mean it is legitimate.
They don't even automatically take your money you have to go into the account to set up the payment. Feels like they want you to miss payments. I paid in full on the day after this experience and automatically put you on a long interest payment rather than the 0% as advertised. Then the interface is odd. I don't recommend it. The discount isn't great your better off using klarna then risk forgetting the payment and being charged 40%
Tried signing up, but apparently my postcode is invalid, it wasn't but there's definitely a lack of intelligence on this site, tried using my friends address, yes I got permission, but I wasn't able to join, but after seeing all the negatives about this terrible site/ business, I think im the lucky one
Customer service non existent - cleared count but still took direct debit- asked for refund as account was nearly £100 in credit - wanted my bank details in an online chat before would process anything - said they’ve processed it but 3 weeks later no refund and emails are virtually ignored - once get refund I will be closing account and never using again on principal - like many others I wouldn’t rate this one star and so so disappointed after being a loyal customer for years
I wouldn’t even give this company a 1 star but had to for the review!! Absolutely awful service cannot speak to anyone just live chat where you are fobbed with your issue is with “another” department, but you can’t contact them. They currently owe me £2000 which was promised to be returned in 5 working days we are now 15 working days later and still not refunded - no accountability, no promise of a timescale to get this resolved, no offer of any compensation - not even a sorry!!!! Absolutely disgusting - stay absolutely clear of this company - they do not value their customers and offer no customer service
Been using the app for 7 months now since being transferred from studio I understand how the app works quite well as suppose to making purchases. And using the repayment slider as a guide off repayment, As it’s more transparent and clearer what your repayments will be, and now much ( interest ) will incur for a set period of time! So this is much better and clearer,It’s gives you a bigger insight to the interest you will repay on the balance owed,We’re studio statements didn’t show this as more clear and transparent,What you would see on your old studio statement is a rough guide, and estimated interest charge on your next statement, This was a estimate and did change, and was billed monthly untill your balance was £0However Frasers account has a 36 months payment option, clearly showing you what your monthly payments are including interest, giving you the flexibility to slide the payment slider to less or more. To suit your financial needs! Many customers don’t know they automatically put any order you make/place onto a 36 months payment plan.I automatically pop into app and select my purchase and OPPT for 3 months payment option, interest free, How ever many people don’t understand the app. And thinking you can repay your balance what’s owed and close your account or no interest will be changed because you have repaid your balance, Sadly this isn’t true because if any balance or purchase is not on a 1-2-3 months repayment option. This then incurs interest clearly stated on the order,So if you want to incur no interest you choose 1-3 months repayment option, only repaying what’s owed, as automatically your order is placed onto 36 months plan. If you do not change this in the app, That’s the issue there, unfortunately Purchase replan. Repay, If your planning on purchasing and repaying within 1 months period, please change the repayment from automatic 36 months plan, to 1, You can’t just not change the plan and repay the balance. As this then puts your account into credit,And your original repayment schedule will still follow including interest despite being in credit,As once again, the repayment slider is the key model, and to me it’s very much displayed right there in app? Or am I missing something you guys can’t see? So once again if your wanting to have a £0 balance with £0 Monthly installments you have to replan your orders and balance to suit,as guess what? Many don’t know your Frasers plus account. Interest matches your old studio account interest. Exactly same, however the repayment model is different, but by giving you a more clear picture of your monthly payment and interest, many look as say that’s expensive interest, what many seem to forget it’s the same as there studio account interest rate, only difference you get to choose on the slider how long you want to set your repayments over, clearly showing you what your monthly charge will be, and seeing it so clear and accurate makes people think WOW, this is expensive, Then that gives you the option to replan to something more suited, Studio didn’t give you the flexibility and the interest was changed accordingly,Frasers is transparent and clear in app displayed, so it’s maybe just use the app correctly! Then you’d have a better understanding. There is also a stimulator in app to play around with.
Not happy at all my account with studio changed to Fraserplus interest rate is extortionate . Buying nothing else from this company just trying to pay off What i owe then goodbyeWould not advise anyone to buy on credit with this company
I've ordered twice from this company and both times evri have sent me emails saying we have your parcel then days later send me emails saying there on the way back to sender when you email customer service they never ever reply disgusting customer service I would of gave zero stars if I could and In my opinion I would avoid this company at all costs
