Shokz OpenRun bone headphones. It's absolutely impossible to go one track back. The instruction tells you to press the button on the left 3 times but it never works because you have to do it within about 0.5 second, which is absolutely impossible even when you are standing not to mention running or cycling. This is very frustrating particularly while listening to audiobooks or when you want to listen to a favourite song several times.
Although I reached out for assistance with one of your headsets, I was acting on behalf of my brother who lives up the line to me, I have forwarded every correspondence from yourself to my brother , as yet I don't know if he has arranged to send the headset back or what is hisvplabs
I am giving two stars because I did enjoy the openrun pro 2 headphones until they messed up. After the product messed up (the power button stopped working reliably) the warranty team communicated okay for a few back and forths before ghosting me for going on 3 weeks now.
I have the email chain to prove that I provided ALL relevant information even trying to help them improve the product by highlighting that this is the same issue I have had with two sets of this product. I should note that this set was a warranty replacement. And even though they acknowledged it was still under warranty…
no further communication just silence. It is enough to make me start trying other brands. It is not like we are supporting American business with products made in Vietnam where the minimum wage breaks down to less than a dollar an hour US. May as well pay the made in sweat shop prices if this company wont even stand behind their warranty.
I paid $180 for headphones I haven’t even enjoyed for a year collectively between the two pairs.
My husband bought me the dot version of these as a gift to run my first half marathon in. I loved the clip on style and not having something shoved in my ear. However, one week after purchase they stopped charging because the pins in the charging case were stuck.
I was able to pop them back out with a Bobby pin but eventually even that stopped working. Tried to get a new pair using my warranty card and was told I couldn’t because he didn’t keep the receipt. After several back and forth conversations with customer service, I gave up.
I was so excited for these after hearing buzz about this brand in the running community, but my advice would be not to purchase anything from this company. The price is high and the quality is low. It’s junk, and they won’t make it right when it stops working.
I purchased Shokz Openrun headphones two years ago, within a year the right headphone stopped working. I contacted customer support who arranged a replacement for me. I was so pleased. Less than a year later the same fault happened on the replacement. I contacted customer support again, who this time said I was out of the original warranty and offered me 10% off a new purchase. I am extremely disappointed by this, as this is obviously a known fault, and to be offered 10% seems very unfair. I would no longer recommend these headphones.
This is getting quite tedious. Apparently leaving a negative trust pilot review is the only way to get Shokz support to reply to my complaint. One step forward in that they replied to my review by emailing with a request to send in the serial number of the faulty earphones. Then - nothing…. Yet again…. Come on Shokz…. This really is incredibly frustrating. Update for Shokz: Original email sent 2 feb has been resent this morning. Please check your inbox.
Great, friendly and efficient customer service.Left me happy and looking into buying the next pair of bone condition earphone within the brand. The form to fill on Shokz website wasn't fully optimized for SmartPhone (I'm using Google pixel 9, when filling up the blank spaces the keyboard wasn't showing/responding) so I had to use the desktop version of the browser.
I bought the OpenFit Air headphones and honestly they are the most comfortable headphones I've owned. Not as loud as some but that's probably because they don't sit inside your ear. This does mean if you were them while walking around you are more aware of what is going on and this is probably a good thing...!After a year of wearing them the left side developed a crackle and because they were still within the 2 year warranty they replaced them straight, no quibbles.Great customer service, would recommend
