UPDATE: The response from the company has been repetitive and unhelpful. They refuse to provide a phone number and claim they can't locate my account without precise matching information. They continue to charge me monthly, which makes it hard to believe they can't find me to stop the charges. I still rate this service one star and will report these charges as fraudulent to my bank.
The site prominently states it's "free" in its title and indeed provides 10 daily conversions at no cost. However, after that, a subscription is necessary. This raises the question of whether it's genuinely a "free" service or primarily a paid one with limited free options. The immediate appearance of the word "pricing" feels disingenuous. The subscription fee of $13 for converting 50 videos totaling 20MB is quite humorous, leaving me feeling misled.
The website claims to be "free" right in its title, offering 10 daily conversions without charge, but then requires a subscription for further use. Is it genuinely a "free" service or a paid one that provides limited free options? It's perplexing to see the term "pricing" immediately upon visiting the site. The request for $13 to convert just 50 videos totaling 20MB is quite laughable. I feel deceived.
They market themselves as FreeConvert, yet you must pay to convert more than 10 photos. I have 34 photos needing reconversion, totaling about 100MB. It's frustrating to encounter the message, "No, you need to pay for this." Consider using alternative services that are genuinely free and faster.
