I used Walgreens Virtual Care for a prescription, assuming a trusted brand would mean transparency and continuity. That turned out not to be the case.

I was given a short prescription with no refills and then told I’d need to pay for an entirely new visit just to continue a routine medication for an ongoing condition. This wasn’t made clear upfront.

There’s nothing illegal about this, but it’s inefficient and far more expensive than many other telehealth or primary care options that handle ongoing care more transparently.

It’s also worth being mindful of where you share personal and medical information. Telehealth requires providing sensitive data, and data breaches are common across the industry. Minimizing unnecessary accounts and data exposure is something consumers should consider. I was able to have my account deactivated , but my info is out there in yet another database that will eventually get breached. Lesson learned; if this isn’t the right service, do not sign up!

If you’re considering this service, know that there are more cost-effective and straightforward alternatives. I expected better from a brand like Walgreens.

Disappointing Experience

It's unfortunate that I rarely write reviews, but I feel the service could improve. I was quite let down during my visit when I went to pick up photos and found no one at the counter. After calling for assistance through the glass, an associate informed me that help would arrive shortly. However, as I waited, another staff member walked by without addressing me. After about 10 minutes, with four other customers also waiting, I had to raise my voice for assistance before a gentleman finally helped me. I won't be returning to this location.

Poor service and customer care.

The service and customer care were very disappointing. The associate in the photo department has a consistently negative attitude. This has occurred multiple times. It would be best for the company to consider replacing this associate, as he treats customers very poorly.

Exceptional Service from the Pharmacist

My experience with the pharmacist has been outstanding. I find him to be very knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient during every visit to the pharmacy. He is always kind, courteous, and respectful while assisting me with all my pharmacy needs, whether for prescriptions or over-the-counter items.

Completely unacceptable service

This service doesn't even warrant a single star. All the negative feedback appears to be accurate. There is no phone support, and customers are misinformed about medication availability to avoid filling prescriptions. Calls are disconnected without resolution. After nearly 30 years in the field, I've seen a significant decline in customer service at this pharmacy that seems to stem from deliberate neglect!

Avoid interacting with this pharmacy

I had been a customer at this pharmacy for many years, but the service was consistently unsatisfactory, leading me to switch to another option. Unfortunately, the pharmacy continues to contact me despite my requests to stop all communications. They show no regard for their past or present customers. I strongly recommend avoiding this pharmacy.

Not deserving of a single star

This place doesn't even deserve a single star. All the negative comments seem to be completely accurate. There is no phone support available. Customers are misled about medication availability to avoid filling prescriptions during their shifts. Calls are abruptly ended. After nearly three decades in the prescription field, I've noticed such a decline in customer service here that it seems like intentional neglect!

Long wait times for prescriptions

Every time I go to pick up a prescription, I end up waiting an eternity—at least 20 minutes each time. They only have one service window open despite having more staff available. Prescriptions take an unreasonably long time to be ready.

A frustrating experience for prescriptions

This is a frustrating place to send prescriptions. The staff seems incompetent. They attempted to provide only half of my medication and refused to give me the new prescriptions, forcing me to return multiple times for corrections. It's a bad environment with unhelpful people. I won't be sending my prescriptions here again.
