I was looking for magnesium oxide, which is usually sold by the lb., but this company sells it by the cu.ft. I called to check the weight of .5 cu and was told it was 60 lbs, which should have been around $2.13/lb. I received only 38 lbs, costing about $3.25/lb. When I called, they claimed it was a website error. They offered a refund of $25.50, while the actual difference should have been $46.54. Returning the order would cost me more than $20 in my time. I regret not checking other negative reviews before purchasing. I won't buy from them again.
I ordered a water filter priced significantly lower than average. It took 3.5 weeks to arrive. After two weeks, I inquired and was told there were unforeseen issues at their shipping facility. Before placing my $200 order, I confirmed they had over 250 in stock, yet it still took 3.5 weeks. Upon receiving the filter, I noticed it was made 8 years ago in March 2017. No wonder it was so cheap. I recommend being very careful when buying from this vendor and question the authenticity of the positive reviews online. I’m giving 2 stars for the functional website and eventual delivery, but now I worry about the filter's performance due to its age.
Be warned! This company does not support their products. I ordered 4 ceramic water filters; after using two, I kept the other two for future use. When I tried to use them, I found they had shattered during shipping. The company refused to replace them, stating too much time had passed since shipping, despite their inadequate packaging being the issue. I advise against doing business with this company and suggest looking into alternatives that treat customers fairly.
I am very unhappy. I placed an order on January 19 and was charged, only to be told the items were out of stock. I agreed to wait. My order finally reached my forwarding address in Miami on February 27. I received it last week, having paid $16.75 for shipping. When I tried to use two filters, I found the wing nut wouldn't tighten properly. Fortunately, my existing filters' wing nuts fit, or else the new ones would be unusable. Living outside the US makes returns impossible. I doubt the quality of these filters. I reached out to the company before posting this review but received no response, leading me to believe they are untrustworthy.
I placed my first order and was informed that an item was out of stock, so it was removed. A week later, that same item shipped after I ordered it elsewhere. Now, two weeks later, I received a damaged item and sent the requested 7 photos but got no further response other than they would file a claim. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company as they refuse to acknowledge the issue with their packing. This has been a terrible experience, and I understand now why many prefer larger platforms.
