I hold a business credit card and have already spent over £20k in a year! Now, I'm facing an argument over an £18 dispute. I attempted to make a payment to a transport service, but my credit card was declined. Seconds later, I used a different card, and that went through without issue. When I reached out to the merchant, they indicated that the problem was with my credit card provider. I provided evidence and contacted the company's CEO, expecting a courteous response. Instead, I received a reply from a representative who was arrogant and unhelpful, merely trying to shift the blame onto me and the merchant without offering a logical explanation for the declined transaction. It's baffling how they would risk losing thousands in business over such a small issue. This company is clearly penny wise and pound foolish! I strongly advise against engaging with a service that treats its customers like they are uninformed!
I think it could be a good service, but I have been receiving unsolicited letters for two years and have had three phone calls, with the most recent today asking for removal from the marketing list. There was also confusion regarding my old address. The representative stated that they source data from a business registry, so it’s crucial to ensure that the information is accurate, as it would be impossible for them to have the address on the letter from the registry since we moved two years ago.
The response time was disappointing, and the staff appeared uninformed about their own systems and integrations. I reached out to the support team regarding an issue with a specific credit card's synchronization with accounting software. It took 1.5 weeks to receive a reply stating that they lack integration with that software, despite their website and prior communications confirming otherwise. There’s a clear need for better training to provide accurate support or to update misleading information on the website.
