I was very disappointed with the pallet I received from GEM Wholesale Ltd. While they do state that these are customer returns and that they don’t guarantee condition, that disclaimer feels like a convenient shield against accountability, not fair transparency.
The pallet I ordered was advertised as a mixed returns load, yet:
• Roughly half of the items were clearly faulty or completely unusable — not just a few out of place returns, but genuinely trash that I had to throw away. RUBBISH!!
• Many of the remaining items were in terrible condition, with severely damaged packaging, missing parts, or visible signs of previous DIY repair attempts.
• The whole pallet had clearly been “cosmetically arranged” on the top to look fuller and more valuable, while most of the bottom was low-quality garbage — exactly the kind of stuff other reviewers have warned about.
Some sellers of return pallets are clear about risk and realistic about what returns mean. This wasn’t that — instead, it felt like an attempt to mask poor quality behind the usual “no guarantees” legal language so that the company avoids responsibility.
There are other reviews on Trustpilot where customers report broken goods, misleading condition descriptions, and difficulty getting support, which makes me believe this is not an isolated problem.
‼️Bottom line: If you’re expecting anything close to sellable stock based on photos or descriptions, prepare for a rude shock. This was not a good buy and ended up being more waste than value.
P.S. GEM Wholesale Ltd please don’t reply with “ I’m sorry to hear that but…”
because we already know that it won’t be last time. You will continue to sell rubbish return, not customers return.

Sold Me Junk as “Grade 1”Bought a “Grade 1” box — got damaged, incomplete, used rubbish. One key item missing parts. They offered a refund, then pulled it when I mentioned the law. Hide behind B2B terms to dodge responsibility. Dishonest grading, zero accountability. Avoid.
To start off, this company is just a front to get rid of their crap and make a margin on it. They sell the good stuff themselves and package up the rubbish to flog to the plebs — their words, not mine. It’s a complete scam: inflated prices and 90% junk. STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY IT’S A MASSIVE SCAM THAT’S BEEN RUNNING FOR YEARS!
i ordered a pallet form this company and incl vat+shipping, it cost me £603.i made around £400 back and the rest of the items were just garbage. they are extremely overpriced for their pallets and really leave no room or a reseller to make a good amount of profit. i was actually looking forward to the pallet as well as i heard good things about this company but they were extremely disappointing. would definitely not recommend. The company is a complete scam for the price that they ask for.
Been buying from gems for a while, first through my ltd company and now as a sole trader. In the past they have been ok, I could make a few pounds here and there. I was relatively satisfied with what I was getting. But last two pallets of radios/ headphones has really disappointed me. I've had lots of items missing that have been listed on the itinerary and also box's with nothing in or the wrong item in the box. It also seems strange that the items missing are 9 times out of 10 the more expensive items. I can eccept items not working its the risk you take but items missing is very frustrating.
Bought a pallet, paid over £350 and got a pile of junk. This site is a total scam!! They offered a paltry £50 refund ! Tried threatening me if I took legal action for mis describing goods, not a problem they can explain themselves to the courts. They only take bank transfers because that way the payments can’t be reversed so buy at your own peril. Make no mistake you will lose your money and have to go through the legal system and trading standards just as I am about to do. Gem you think everyone will pay down and take it but not me
