Massive scam, they auto enrol you into subscription £39.99 which starts after a week with no email notification or warning, after asking for refund they pretend not to understand what you want. AVOID THEM!!!
Disgrace of a service, I purchased what was described as a single purchase QR code to print on my wedding invites for the code to be deactivated and several attempts to take £39 from my account. David at GetQr took 3 weeks to even find my details after 20 emails and then advised they would pay the cost of having to reprint my invites with another QR code. He then retracted this despite having it in writing and claimed they are not a business so are not mediated by anyone. Absolutely disgusting.
The support service is very fast and efficient. I had a problem with several QR codes that were deactivated because they hadn't been scanned for a while, and they were able to recover them very quickly. I'm very grateful for that. It's important to know that if the QR code isn't scanned, the system deactivates it, so you need to check its status periodically. Overall, it's a very intuitive platform to use and it's also free. Thanks again for your help.
Should be 0 stars. I initially was really happy with the qr code I created and thought the £2 something one-off payment wasn’t bad. However, a few days later I was charged £45. I emailed their support team, and after being reassured that no subscription had been set up under my email address, they are yet to refund me. The replies I’m getting to my emails seem to be a bot as no matter what I say the wording of the reply is very similar. Absolute scam. I will be contacting my bank and reporting it as a fraudulent transaction.
I stupidly thought I was paying $.99 for one QR code, and they charged me $30 a week later for a membership that I did not agree to purchase. They keep asking me for my credit card details to process a return, when I didn't even use a card to pay. I see now that they're based in Ukraine, so I guess small claims court won't help.
SCAMMERS. They say it's 100% free and then try to charge you £0.99 for the download. Although I thought it was cheeky, I paid. Three days later they have taken £29.99 off my PayPayl account. I went on their website and clicked "report a problem" which did nothing. That link is fake and so is the whole thing. I will be reposting it to PayPal to get my money back. Looking at other people's reviews that had the same experience as me, and their reply is denying what the customer says, that they don't charge and blah blah blah. Scammers
