Orange has an extremely stupid payment policy. The amounts are displayed in EUR in a country where the national currency is RON and when you pay with a EUR card you are robbed at the conversions 2 times as it happens EUR -> RON -> EUR.
Conclusion: Orange Romania is stealing money legally from every person who has an Orange number.
You bastards. When I requested the contract we supposedly have with you (I'm talking about a contract unilaterally modified by Orange with an 80-year-old person through a simple email sent as a notification) your response was another email from a debt collection company?
Is that your professionalism?
On November 25th, I entered into a contract for repair services covering devices like cellphones, tablets, and TVs. I was advised to purchase a promotional plan at a lower price (60 RON/month). However, I was asked to pay 415.11 RON plus an additional 30 RON. I was informed that this substantial amount would cover about seven months of service (it was a credit!). Having had a negative experience with another provider, I accepted this offer. In December, I received a bill for 21 RON, which I paid. In January, I was surprised to receive a bill for 92 RON. When I inquired about this discrepancy, I received no email response. A visit to the store revealed that since I only paid 21 RON in December, I was responsible for the remaining balance in January. I questioned the 30 RON paid in November, but received no explanation. I pointed out that the 415.11 RON I had paid as credit should apply, but they insisted that this amount would only be available after seven months. No one had informed me of this beforehand. They have taken 415.11 RON in advance, plus 30 RON, 21 RON (December), and 92 RON in January. This feels like theft! Dishonest and corrupt practices are evident. They mislead customers into purchasing promotions while exploiting them financially. A truly terrible experience.
I’m very dissatisfied with the mobile data service. Even though the signal strength appears good, the internet is slow, inconsistent, and often disconnects entirely. Activities like streaming, navigation, or even basic browsing frequently fail. What’s most frustrating is that this occurs while paying premium prices for what is expected to be a top-tier network. Customer support provides generic responses but no effective solutions. What used to be a reliable service has now become overpriced and unreliable. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who relies on consistent mobile internet.
I had a two-year contract and attempted to reach them a month before it ended to switch to a better deal, but I couldn't get in contact. Consequently, I got a new number after the expected end of the contract. However, my original contract didn’t actually conclude, and now I'm stuck paying for two numbers. It's incredibly hard to reach the support team to terminate the contract. I recommend looking for alternative options.
I had a contract lasting two years. A month before it was due to end, I tried to reach out to change to a better deal, but it was impossible to make contact. I ended up getting a new number and deal after my contract was expected to conclude. However, my original contract didn’t actually end, leaving me with two numbers to pay for. It's extremely challenging to get in touch with the support team to terminate the contract. I suggest exploring other options.
This has been the worst experience I've had with a company. I hope it faces consequences similar to others and exits the market. They use shady tactics, calling you at the last minute when you want to cancel a subscription, insisting on processes that prevent immediate termination. They delay responses to complaints and make it difficult to file them properly. It's incredibly frustrating.
THESE SALES TACTICS ARE UNACCEPTABLE! I went to a store to cancel my contract, but they tried to sell me a new one. After refusing, they claimed my cancellation request was sent but told me to wait up to 11 days for another call to confirm. It felt like begging to cancel the contract while receiving more invoices during this time.
I purchased a roaming option that never worked and spent over an hour with multiple agents who couldn't resolve the issue. Worse yet, after my mother's passing, I repeatedly asked to remove her from my contract, only to be hit with a termination fee that didn't even exist in their system. I had to visit a store and pay blindly before they finally processed it. This company engages in abusive practices and lacks accountability, even in sensitive matters like death.
This company employs questionable tactics to take your money! I had a very negative experience with a contract that was extended without my consent, violating regulations. Be cautious, as they prioritize profits over customer care. Details about the misconduct can be provided upon request.
