Review Time
After 20 years of using this service, I find the latest software update to be very frustrating. Uploading photos to the platform results in them appearing in a confusing order, which should be chronological, and some photos don't appear at all. Completing my album was a hassle due to a clunky ordering process, and the 'buy now' button often failed. I even had trouble leaving a review, as the submission button was unresponsive! I have no intention of using this service again.

This tool is terrible. The functionality is lacking, with many features locked and editing not as straightforward as with other platforms. Reliability is also a major issue, as pages of the photobook can vanish despite being saved, wasting hours of work. Furthermore, they're significantly more expensive. If you catch a voucher day, other services offer much better deals. This product is disappointing, and customer support seems indifferent. I dread the thought of delivery issues if I ever finish my project.
I have used this service before. After downloading the recent update, I spent 30 minutes on a 200-page project, completing 7 pages, only for it to crash. I couldn't adjust the page layout, which had worked fine for the first 7 pages. I feel like I've just wasted my time. Extremely disappointing.
After needing to change my email address post-order, my order was canceled without any notification. I reordered but had to pay a second time, with a promise of a credit note valid for a year. I emailed about my credit note and received an automated confirmation on November 17, but I'm still waiting for a response as of the 28th!
I ordered five small desk calendars featuring my artwork, costing £10.97 each. I was extremely disappointed upon their arrival. I noticed a visible margin on the front page and, despite contacting them immediately as instructed in the order confirmation, I was told my order was already in production for quick delivery. The delivery was slow, the mistake remained, the paper quality was poor, and only four calendars arrived. I've reached out for assistance but have yet to receive a response. I thought another service was bad, but this is worse.
I was working on a photobook while on holiday in France in early July using local software on my laptop. Upon returning home on July 14, I was encouraged to finish my project before the software update on July 15. However, when I tried to access it, I found I could no longer use the software, as my laptop was incompatible with the new version. Customer support informed me that I had lost all my progress. Even if I have to recreate the photobook online, it would have been helpful to access my previous project for reference. This has been incredibly distressing. I've always rated this service highly, but I'm now completely disillusioned. If there's a cutoff date, it should be adhered to.
The customer service is absolutely terrible. I ordered a book for my partner on March 11 to ensure it would arrive for Mother's Day, but it still hasn't arrived. The order status just says 'shipped - no tracking information available.' I reached out to customer support two days ago and have received no reply. The only email I’ve ever received was the confirmation of my order. I've now ordered from another company and expect to receive a refund. I will never use this service again and advise others to avoid it as well. It's now April 8, four weeks since my order, and I'm still waiting. I've initiated a chargeback with my bank due to the lack of response.
Everything that could go wrong did. It's a long story, but key points include their lack of quality control (even after reprints due to initial errors) and incredibly slow customer service. This has been the most frustrating experience, and I strongly recommend steering clear of them. I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order.
