Review Time
I was honestly hesitant because I felt that I could get a better deal with my Dads help. He use to be in car sales 10-15 years ago and thought he was the man for negotiating. We sat at the dealership for 3 hours and got the Ram 2500 Limited to $108K out the door but I felt like the dealership was just playing games and wasn't really trying to give any breaks. I decided to pay the $1,000 fee to CarHax to see if they could do any better and man did they not disappoint! I got the identical truck from a dealer 2 hours away for $97k out the door! Even my dad was blown away. I was trying to get the dealership to just go to $105K but getting the deal for $11K less 2 hours away was a no brainer. I will never buy a car without CarHax again! The car buying process has always been terrible for me, but having no choice in getting taken advantage of whether at the dealer or online (no negotiation whatsoever) in this economy has made it the worst it’s ever been.When I worked with the Carhax team it finally felt like I was in control.
