**Worst company ever.**A representative called me, promising the lowest price and handling everything to save my time. I trusted them, but a month later, I realized I had been scammed. They canceled my previous low-price contract two months early and blamed me, claiming I had signed for it.Now, at the end of their contract, they tried to scam me again. Another representative sent me a "lowest price" contract, which I reviewed carefully this time. I discovered all the tariffs were listed **without tax** as lowest price in the market, even though next to tarrif stated "Alle tarieven zijn inclusief btw or including tax." At the last page very bottom, in a single line within an example calculation, they revealed, i pay more with tax in tariffs. Clearly bad intentions. This is deceptive and unethical.I wouldn't recommend **Gewoon Energie** to anyone. They have no morality and will do whatever it takes to trap customers. Avoid them at all costs!
Biggest scam alert. They called informing that they were calling on behalf of Dutch government as I was paying high energy tariffs with my previous company (a trusted one). Informed that Gewoon has the cheapest rates and that I should switch without any cancellation fees from previous supplier. Definitely avoid!!! End story, I got a fine from my previous supplier and got a fine from Gewoon for cancelling the contract outside cooling period (400 euros for 20 days). To save a couple of euros each month, you would end up spending a fortune from these scams.
My experience with Gewoon Energie was disappointing. Their customer support was unhelpful and rude, and the company blatantly disregards the 14-day cooling-off period. I found myself slapped with an unjustified charge of almost 200 euros. Despite repeated attempts to rectify the situation, the company has shown no willingness to acknowledge their mistake or provide a satisfactory resolution.I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution and thoroughly research Gewoon Energie before entering into any agreements with them. Their failure to respect consumer rights and deliver adequate support should serve as a red flag for anyone seeking reliable energy services.
I had an issue with GewoonEnergie where gas and electricity was being delivered to an incorrect address which resulted in me effectively being billed for a product that I was not using. I tried multiple times via email and telephone to sort the matter out but the customer service was really bad and they could not fix the issue so that I would get gas & electricity to my correct address so in the end I decided to rather move back to previous supplier, even though they are more expensive I never had these kind of issues with them.
IT IS A SCAM!!My mother just got called from the salesperson and was about to sign a "contract". H e was saying she would get a fine, and it was a 14-day trial, and that they are WAYYYYY cheaper. So I searched up the companies name and I read all the reviews and the sales person was repeating exactly what the others were saying, indicating that this was a scam. My mom said she would call back after talking to my dad, but he was forcing her to sign the contract right now as you can cancel it in 14 days.
