Additionally, the store frequently prompts customers for donations at checkout, which, while appearing charitable, seems more like a corporate public relations strategy to enhance their image and possibly reduce their tax liabilities. Their loyalty rewards program offers minimal returns, while prices keep rising. If you're looking to save money, I would advise caution with this store; while larger chains may not always appear customer-friendly, they don't engage in the same deceptive practices that lead to higher costs at checkout.
