I received as a gift and approached the Pinter as a possible gimmick that maybe wouldn’t compare to bar draft beers.
Thankfully I was proved wrong.
If you follow the simple instructions (that’s the important bit), it creates great beer. I’ve now got 2 Pinters and it’s an easy process to get really fresh, great tasting beer. Also it didn’t take much to convince 3 others to start brewing.
Note: For the past 2 months, to bring down my weight, I’m off the beers totally, so I’ve stopped the Pinter process - as well as stopped baking sourdough loaves. But I’m champing at the bit to start brewing again in a few weeks - I’ve got the Pinter packs ready.
I had an issue with one of the taps but the Customer Service is excellent (shout out to Marlo), and a replacement tap was delivered promptly.
The subscription is good - and you can pause it when required.
Pinter is fantastic. The beer tastes fresh, smooth, and genuinely craft-quality, and the process couldn’t be easier. Setup is simple, brewing is straightforward, and the end result is consistently great. Highly recommend for anyone who loves good beer without the hassle.
My first brew, I tried to follow the instructions correctly, but my first brew came out foamy from start to finish. What did I do wrong? I'm getting ready to start my second batch, but getting frightened.
The Pinter system does all the heavy lifting in brewing beer. In the past, you had to sanitize all your vessels and equipment, spend hours maintaining a roaring five gallon boil in the kitchen for your wort, and then after fermentation, there's the additional sanitizing of your bottling equipment and the the conditioning of the brew, where you hope you didn't introduce a bug along the way, which only renders your efforts worth of the kitchen drain. The Pinter system is almost fool-proof!
Well, let's see...my first brew failed. BUT THAT WASNT PINTERS FAULT. I messed up, I missed a step, and I paid for it by a lost brew. However, even with the brew failing, it still tasted good for a flat, oxidized beer, which is remarkable. I got pinter during their new years deal, which got me two full pinter brewing stations with 2 beers coming in every few weeks, and it all cost me 27 bucks, which is why I pulled the trigger on it. Get it if you have little space, such as living in an apartment like I do.
Omg so I bought this for my husband's birthday and tried to cancel it 15 minutes after purchasing and they wouldn't let me. I did a cancellation request. The next day I get an email that items was shipped so... ooo well. So we're like natural brewery hoppers and he always talked about making his own beer and I was like yeah sure.. whatever. When it showed up at my door. The look on his face made me like 🤢. It was a lot like a kid on Christmas morning.. He was Soo excited and downloaded the app.. and invited his friends to try his first beer out.
Wish i could give negative stars. They were running a promo where they were giving away a free Pinter (whatever the POS is that doesn’t work you wanna call it), i was okay with having to buy the 2 packs that came with it to make the beer. What they don’t tell you is that you have signed your life away and no matter what you are now giving them 80 dollars a month for some herbs to put in your Pinter. Save yourself the trip to the bank to cancel your card. - a dissatisfied customer who tried contacting support many times:)
Saw the ad and thought why not? Thats exactly the question why not? Its an amazing activity to do alone, with a friend or partner or with a group. We have 2 pinter's for now (ordering 2 more this month) and its great. We brew on date nights, for themed dinner parties, and on game night.
I’m genuinely enjoying my Pinter. From starting the brew to tapping I have fun. To say the least it’s the best & freshest beer I’ve tasted. I would highly recommend. The steps are easy to follow and the customer service is top tier.
I'll confess, I was skeptical that any system like this would make quality fresh beer. Fortunately, I was wrong. Pinter is nearly foolproof (you do need to follow instructions). Just tapped my first source and it's delicious. Perfect for beginners brewers or even brewers who want a simpler approach. Definitely recommend.
