Very disappointed with GLS delivery service.
My prepaid parcel was marked as “delivered to neighbors”, which was false. In reality, the package was left unattended in the building entrance, exposed to rain. As a result, it was wet and damaged.
No one accepted the parcel, I was not contacted by phone, and no signature was provided by me. I strongly suspect the courier signed on my behalf without my presence or consent, which is a serious violation of delivery rules.
I only managed to find my parcel by personally searching the building and asking neighbors. This caused unnecessary stress and could have easily resulted in loss or theft.
Completely unacceptable service. I do not feel safe trusting GLS with prepaid deliveries.
It's unacceptable how a delivery person can ruin your day. I opened the door for the delivery person, but he left without delivering my package. When I contacted the support team to explain the situation, they informed me that there was nothing they could do and that the package had been returned to the warehouse. I ordered multiple cabinets, and now I'm left wondering how to transport them home, especially since I paid for delivery. This is disappointing and reflects poorly on how you treat your customers!
They refuse to deliver to my home. Today, a very discourteous young man insisted that I meet him on the street. When I called him back, I could hear music, suggesting he was on a break. I explained how to reach my house, but he repeatedly shouted at me to come to him. When I said I couldn't, he mocked my situation. This is the third time I've encountered issues with the service; in my experience, the staff have been quite rude.
Delivery is painfully slow, taking 15 days with no sign of my package. It seems to linger for days at each sorting center, while I receive parcels from other countries in under 10 days. There must be a deliberate effort to be this inefficient.
I can only echo what many others have said. The service is truly dreadful, consistently failing to deliver to my home and always claiming they couldn't find me. It seems to be their standard practice. I've never encountered one of their delivery personnel at my address. Now, if a seller uses this delivery service, I actively seek alternatives. I truly hope they cease operations soon.
The package was handed over on December 1st, 2025, and took four days to move just a short distance. After several confusing stops, it finally arrived on December 11th. The tracking information remains unclear. I had to repurchase the gift for my nephew's birthday.
