We strongly advise against purchasing this service. Despite making reservations well in advance, we were unable to participate in the most interesting activities. Our bookings were cancelled more than five times, which ultimately prevented us from attending the Moana Luau. Instead of saving 50% as advertised, our activities ended up costing nearly double. Overall, it was a very disappointing and risky experience.
To make matters worse, GoCity was initially willing to compensate us—until they learned that we had purchased the pass through Costco. The moment they found out, they refused any refund and redirected us to Costco. Costco then refused to handle the issue and sent us back to GoCity. In the end, Costco flatly refused to resolve the situation, leaving us with no solution at all.
GoCity continues to be a worthwhile option if you're prepared to do your research to get the most out of a busy itinerary. However, for a more leisurely pace, GoCity doesn't necessarily offer better value than purchasing tickets for attractions individually, but it also doesn't detract from the overall experience.
We purchased the Madrid Go City pass and have made reservation for the activities we are interested a couple months prior to our trip. However, our reservation for the Royal Palace was canceled last minute. Also, our booking time to see Real Madrid Stadium was changed and thank God we can still make the tour. It is difficult for us if they can make this kind of last minute changes which can jeopardize our travel plan.
