I’ve had the great misfortune of flying with Pegasus airlines several times. I’m writing this review so you don’t make the same mistake I did.
On repeated occasions I have experienced delays/cancellation with Pegasus. The information comes too late to be of any use, in fragments, or not at all! Good luck figuring out your next steps if you’re stranded in a foreign country after your flight was cancelled. It’s not like the employees are going to help you.

The disruptions don’t seem to be the exception, but a part of their business model. At the gate, complete strangers were sharing their own horror stories, some with photo evidence. It seems to be a pattern with Pegasus that practical burden shifts quickly and quietly onto the passenger. You are the one rearranging plans, absorbing extra costs, and managing the stress of meeting requirements that are unclear, impractical, or seemingly impossible to fulfill — often with minimal guidance.

Every trip with this airline has felt like a game of chance – and the house always wins.

Customer service deserves its own chapter. The often unfriendly, incompetent and/or rude staff is just the cherry on top in an already very stressful situation. Getting a hold of someone who can actually assist you feels like winning the lottery. And when you finally do, you’re made to feel like an annoying inconvenience rather than a paying customer. Even if you’ve lost two connecting flights, important commitments and additional expenses incurred. The lack of ownership is staggering. Responsibility seems to vanish into thin air the moment an issue arises. It’s like talking to a wall, and not the representatives of an airline. At least the wall doesn’t double charge you for the luggage and require you to fight for reimbursement afterward.
You’re left delayed, stressed out, financially impacted, and resentful for choosing Pegasus again.
My repeated experience with Pegasus Airlines have been completely exhausting. At this point I would rather sell my body so I can afford flying with a different company.
Do not choose this airline if you have any other option.

I have read many bad experiences but in my case the flights were on time, the personnel was kind, the planes were pretty new and clean and every went well. It is a low cost, so all extra services are at cost, but the rules are clear, so easy to respect (ie luggage limitations)

I contacted customer support regarding an illegal charge (additional baggage fees charged through the support center, despite the fact that I wasn't given the option to pay online), and a lie about free calls from registered bolbol numbers. All of this resulted in me having to pay almost 22 euros more. In response to my complaints, I was told that their online system was working perfectly and that this was solely the result of my problems. This sounds especially good given their ad about free calls. Clearly, we're dealing with unscrupulous people whose main goal is to extort as much money from you as possible. Actually 1 star is too much, zero would be better

Denied our tickets by saying we need a visa for a country where we don't need a transit visa, even though the country officials agreed for us to come, we were still denied by Pegasus. Flight got delayed anyways and even if it wasn't for the original issue, we still wouldn't made it to our next flight. No refunds from them. The worst experience ever and I hope no one ever uses this company again.

Pegasus Airlines damaged my checked baggage on January 10 and has failed to pay compensation for months.

I reported the damage immediately and followed all required procedures. Since then, I have contacted Pegasus countless times. Every time, I receive the same response: “Your case has been forwarded to the finance department for urgent payment.”

No payment, no written confirmation, no timeline.

This is a clear violation of the Montreal Convention and a serious disregard for passenger rights. Pegasus Airlines seems to rely on customer exhaustion instead of lawful resolution.

I strongly advise passengers to be cautious.

Worst part is contacting their chat / online support... They don't help at all...

Disappointing Experience with Visa Requirements

I planned to travel to Kuwait with a layover in Istanbul and had already arranged my connecting flight with another airline. However, the airline has a surprising policy that requires a valid visa for the country they transit through, which is not a norm for other airlines or for Kuwait. While I had a valid connecting flight, this was insufficient for them. They denied me boarding and offered no compensation since I couldn't secure a visa in a matter of minutes during check-in. I requested to be flown to Istanbul instead, as my ticket included that route, but they couldn't assist because they were unable to issue separate check-in slips. It's frustrating that in this day and age, they lack such basic capabilities, leading me to spend several hundred euros on alternative flights.

Disappointing Experience with Delays

This situation occurred with my family twice, leaving me extremely frustrated as it was due to the company's fault. We had connecting flights, but because of the delays, we couldn't make it to our next flight, resulting in a 10-hour wait at the airport. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, which led us to miss two days of our trip, significantly affecting our plans. I would advise others to avoid flying with this service, as it can completely ruin your travel experience to the point where you'd wish you hadn't gone at all.

Avoid flying with this airline at all costs.

If you’re ever given the option to fly with this airline, just say no. No matter how appealing the price may seem, it's not worth it.
Here are the reasons:
1. Expect significant flight delays.
2. The airport experience is the worst I've encountered, with long lines for connections that can lead to missed flights.
3. The rebooking process is disorganized and chaotic; you'll waste hours at a counter with unhelpful staff.
4. Your new flight could be scheduled days later, and if you're not from the U.S. or Europe, finding accommodation can be a challenge.
5. And if you're not white or Arab, even with a valid passport, you might still struggle to get a place to stay.
6. There's a high chance your checked luggage won't arrive with you, leaving you without your belongings.
7. If your luggage is delivered later, it may be left at the airport, requiring you to arrange for its retrieval.
