Disappointing Experience with an Incentive Certificate

I received an incentive certificate for a free cruise from a company after attending a timeshare presentation. I must say, this is the worst experience I've ever had, and it feels almost like a scam. The company can issue an unlimited number of these certificates for an annual fee, which makes them essentially worthless, as reflected in their poor BBB rating. Upon receiving the certificate, I discovered it required a $198 non-refundable deposit and provided two date options that were 30 days apart. After attempting to book twice, I was informed that those dates were unavailable. Additionally, there were extra costs for port fees and taxes. I reached out every couple of weeks to check availability, specifically requesting a preferred cruise line, but even other options were often unavailable. After months of frustration, I finally voiced my concerns about the legitimacy of the offer and threatened to report them. Coincidentally, a cruise suddenly became available. We accepted it, but by the end, we ended up paying around $600 for the lowest-tier cabin. A friend who booked separately paid significantly less for their cruise. It's no surprise that this company has so many negative reviews. We just received another certificate, but we are discarding it because it's completely worthless. This company should be ashamed of its practices.

A complete scam

This is a complete scam. They demand $198 upfront just to activate your account. When I called for reservations, I was informed that only one cruise to Mexico was available. It's utterly ridiculous. Stay far away from this service!

A total disappointment.

Terrible, unprofessional customer service, if you can even reach anyone. Expect to be on hold for over 45 minutes. The packages are poor, and you'll end up spending much more than if you planned the trip yourself. It feels like a legal scam. I just hope I can get my deposit back.

Unable to fulfill requests

They have never been able to provide travel options for the dates I've requested. Whenever I inquire, they only offer limited alternatives. It takes about 30 minutes just to get through, and then another 30 minutes to look up travel dates. I don’t understand why this process is so slow; other travel sites find information in minutes.

Paid but no service

I’ve already paid $150. After two calls, each lasting an hour, I still haven’t reached anyone to book a 'free' cruise. I opted for a callback after the first long wait but received nothing. This feels like a scam to collect my money, especially since we didn’t even purchase at the presentation.

Frustrating experience

I was put on hold multiple times, totaling nearly an hour and a half, just for asking about my refund check. They clearly lied about consulting a supervisor and wasted my time. My patients were waiting, but it seems my time doesn’t matter to them. I’m filing a formal complaint about today’s call and expect my full deposit back.

Bait and switch tactics

They promise you a cruise date, take your money, and then you find out the cruise isn't available. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a company. It feels like a bait and switch, and I wish I had done my research before engaging with them. I'm hoping my credit card company can assist with a refund.

Caution: This is a timeshare program

DO NOT register for the supposed free gift. You won’t receive any details about the hotel or location until after paying the $198 deposit. That’s when the runaround begins. You have no idea when you’ll receive the 'free' package for which you just paid. Trust should be earned before handing over money. Thankfully, I managed to reverse my payment quickly. This is clearly a timeshare scheme.

Terrible service and attitude

It's often difficult to reach anyone, which seems to be a common complaint. The representatives have poor attitudes, frequently interrupt, and exhibit a take-it-or-leave-it demeanor. I verified information with the resort, only to find discrepancies. Their website is also full of glitches, complicating the booking process. This company is stressful to deal with and not worth the money.

Almost worthless gift incentives

This service manages travel gift certificates offered as incentives to lure people into timeshare presentations. They make it incredibly difficult to redeem them. While customer service representatives are friendly, they provide little useful information. The current 'gift' requires registration, and the options available are vague at best. Customer service lacks knowledge about the offerings, and the entire process feels like a frustrating maze with no clear guidance.
