This industry is foreign to me but I have come to better understand that its all one in the same and as one broker said to me, "stay far away given this type of funding" is not typical to your standard banking way of doing business, albeit frustrating at times.I get its supposed to be fast if approved and mutually beneficial but not to respond to an applicant after sharing sensitive information and phone call is just not what I am accustomed to (unprofessional).I hope Val B. (Finance Manager) can see that my rating is not from a disgruntled place because not my style but more so the professional courtesy as I have extended to your entity. Even if it could not work out, it takes 5 seconds to respond to a call or email and letting me know why/how, where appropriate.In this economic climate, it's about relationships and not "assembly line" because "social capital" can always go much further than "fast capital", so all the best.
Val was not willing to assist on some simple math on MCA lending and left it all to us to figure out on our own. MCA's are not my expertise so I would assume a lender would be more than willing to help.I am now working with a lender who said "no problem, I'll do the math!" and they are now our finance partner moving forward. This team seems lazy and it doesn't feel exciting to be moving forward with them. Find a real partner, not someone who is rude in their emails.
