They fooled me.

They fooled me.I should have checked reviews BEFORE placing my order! As soon as I clicked to submit it, I realized it might be a scam, and I contacted Grace and Jax right away to cancel the order, but of course they would not, even though their site says you can contact them within 15 minutes and cancel. I went ahead and contacted my credit card company, who started a dispute. Once I received the items, I contacted J&G multiple times, in writing, detailing how each item was different from what they represented on their site. All they would offer was 1) I pay to ship the clothes back to China, and they give full refund; 2) I keep the clothes and they give 60% refund; 3) I keep the clothes and they give me a discount on buying more clothes from them; etc. They were always so polite and never admitted wrongdoing. After going back and forth with G&J through email for a couple of weeks, I contacted my CC company again and gave them the details, and they refunded my money. So it worked out for me in the end, but I never should have fallen for this obvious scam.

SCAM ALERT. Do not buy from Grace and Jax

This company is a scam. Do not buy from them. The clothes they advertise bear no resemblance to what they send you. Cheap polyester crap. You would not want to be caught dead in their clothes. And if you want to return it - they basically make it impossible. They want you to pay the cost of shipping it back to China. Oh, and of course, the packaging the sent the clothes to you in cannot be opened at all or they won't accept a return. How could you look at the clothes unless you open their packaging? SCAM Alert!!!

This was a full on scam and robbery

This was a full on scam and robbery. The product was said to be cotton and linen, but was polyester and spandex. They sent and charged me for 2 of the same item.

Scam

I ordered a dress from Grace & Jax which said it was a cotton/linen blend. When it arrived it was 100% polyesther! They asked for a photo of the delivered dress (which I did send) and replied that they sent the correct dress. I hear they are going out of business. Perhaps poor customer service might be one of the reasons.

This company falsely advertised a dress…

This company falsely advertised a dress made of cotton and linen. When I receive the dress it was 100% polyester and the design was cheaply printed on the polyester. The dress was not the quality nor what it was represented to be on the website. I asked for a refund and to return the dress. They replied by saying sorry you're not satisfied we can offer you 10% off and you can keep the dress or you have to send it to China and it is very expensive. This company falsely advertised and it does not take responsibility..

Terrible

Terrible. The clothes did not fit well and were different than the representative photos. They make it seem as though they're shipping from the US but they actually come from China. They say you can return but then inform you it is from China so are expensive to return. Then they offer a pathetic refund of 10%—and you can keep the clothes—not that you'd ever wear them. They have very polite customer service and you think it will all be ok, but it is not.

Not remotely close to what was listed...

I ordered several sweaters that were listed as "Premium Quality – Made from 100% top-grade cashmere 100% cashmere." They ended up being cheap polyester, poorly made with exposed seams, hanging threads and no labels--nothing listing the seller or the material or anything. They were also shipped from China, not from a NYC boutique like the seller claim to be.Apparently I have to ship them to China for a refund. Will it even make it back to them and will they even say it did?

Scammy

Yup, this is a scam all right. A winsome backstory, stock photos of their kids that have shown up on other websites, the works. Of course, I didn't realise that until after I'd paid. Anyway, the website was opened in August, it looks like. I'm giving it two stars for a couple of reasons. I knew it was a scam before the clothing arrived, so I was resigned to being completely ripped off and not getting anything, but much to my surprise it did show up. It arrived in reasonably good time, and it was better than my very low expectations, honestly, though made of cheap material that will probably fall apart in the wash. But save your money. And CHECK that a store exists before falling for the Facebook ads.
