I recently purchased a Beosound Theatre from James at Sound-Affair and had an excellent experience. James was outstanding in his communication—he responded to all my emails and questions quickly and thoroughly. He guided me through the process of international shipping and ensured that my equipment arrived promptly and in perfect condition.

The product was exactly as described on their website, and it both looks and sounds fantastic. I am very happy with my purchase. I would definitely work with James again and highly recommend Sound-Affair to anyone considering a B&O purchase.

Happy ending

I wanted to replace a defunct BeoSound 3000 with a secondhand one which could connect to my B&O speakers. Lots are offered for sale, but I opted to pay a bit more in order to have the 1-year warranty provided by Sound-Affair. This turned out to be a good decision. The BeoSound that they supplied (actually a 3200 not 3000) malfunctioned - the sliding doors didn't work properly. James advised helpfully over the phone how I might fix this, but without success, so I re-packed the BeoSound, and James arranged for it to be collected from my home and couriered back to their workshop.After some delay over New Year, the machine was eventually returned to me, and so far it all works perfectly. Everything done under warranty was free of charge.So although my dealing with Sound-Affair was a bit long-drawn-out, it was very satisfactory in the end. James is friendly, conscientious, patient and knowledgeable, and he gave me some useful technical guidance. Sound-Affair are not cheap but in my experience they are good.

Customer service at it's best. James was very helpful and dealt with an issue in a prompt and professional manner. The 12 month warranty is definitely why I bought from him.I would recommend S/A to anyone looking for good quality used B&O equipment.

Ordered two PowerLink mark 2s for my B&O stereo £20.40 each not too bad as paid more in the past. Was charged £24.99 for postage.When they arrived I noticed on the postage they paid £6.59 so what happened to the additional money I paid. I have emailed sales email twice since I received them 4th dec and no reply no apology, not even an offer of a refund for being over charged.I probably wouldn’t buy again from here postage cost more than one lead alone, could understand if if cane wrapped special but didn’t.

Very happy with Sound-Affair. I contacted them to see if they were interested in buying my 20 y/o B&O Beosound 3200 Hi-Fi. James looked at my photos and offered a fair price. He arranged collection and I was paid in full by bank transfer the next day. Very easy and professionally managed. Highly recommended.

Selling B&O

We contacted Sound-Affair about selling our B&O equipment. I was amazed at how simple and straightforward James made it.I emailed the details and some photos. James responded within a few hours and we agreed a fair price. He called in person to collect everything and transferred the money there and then.
