Ordered 4 bags of panda stone. Only 3 arrived. No explanation as to why only 3 from the driver. Driver was actually very rude and said wasn’t his issue- he just had to deliver 3 bags! Had to chase the delivery company who eventually told me the bag had broke and would be delivered the next day. Gravel master had no knowledge of this. Next day had to phone gravel master 4 times. Each time told the bag would be there within the hour. Finally arrived at 5pm. Bag was a different bag to all the others and had wood chippings in it from the pallet, clearly from where they had scooped up the gravel when the pallet broke. Thankfully managed to remove most of the wood. No apology from delivery company or gravel master
I ordered a 1000kg bulk bag of 20mm Golden Gravel on the 13th March. Was told delivery would take place on 19th March. I took the 19th as holiday to receive the delivery. I arrived home from work at 17:45 on 18th March to find the delivery had been left ¾ of the way across the entrance to our drive. Had to set to and move it before I could gain access to my drive. The gravel itself was absolutely filthy and had to be washed as well!!!This should have raised alarm bells.The one bag wasn’t enough so I ordered 2 more 1000kg bags on 20th March with delivery set for 25th March. At 08:30 on the 25th I received confirmation from PalletForce that they would deliver between 9:55 and 12:55. Then heard nothing else - no delivery was made.Over the following days my wife made by numerous calls to inquire on the status of our order. We were told that our lane was too small for a delivery to be made even though they had already successfully delivered our previous order. On the 30th March I received a call at 16:30 telling me that our order was being weighed and that he would call me back with an update when that had been done. I heard nothing. Today my wife called asking for a full refund. He asked if we could take delivery at an alternative address! We said no and were told that we would be charged a fee to cancel the order. Absolute disgrace. I have just raised a complaint with PayPal and will see what happens, Gravel Master - please respond to this with a concrete plan of action rather than your standard cut and paste responses and empty platitudes.
