Contacted Green Space following a letter offering “substantial subsidiary”. Spent ages on the phone to book an appointment (so many questions) then, just a few minutes later, I received a call from another rep to confirm the booking and started to ask the exact same questions all over again 🙄
When the salesman came it was a very strange interaction where he would not give me a straight answer regarding a price, he was throwing random numbers around. For example “our minimum order is about £5k” (how is that relevant to me? Is that my price?) Then he mentioned a figure of around £14k - astonishing! “How do you feel about that?” He asked. I said it seemed incredibly expensive and what happened to my “substantial subsidiary?” Apparently he needed to work that out back at the office. He then seemed annoyed that I wasn’t agreeing on the spot (despite me stating several times I was unclear on price). I never received a quote in writing. When the sales team called me in response to my survey response they told me the quote was £19k! Nineteen thousand pounds to fit ten panels into an existing frame in a small conservatory. Unbelievable.

After three decades, we required a new roof and found exactly what we were looking for. We are thrilled with the outcome; it has rejuvenated our conservatory into a modern and practical area. The anthracite grey roof looks incredibly stylish. The entire process, from the first contact to the survey and installation, was seamless. We were kept in the loop at every stage, and the customer service was exceptional. The installation was completed in under eight hours, even in freezing temperatures. We've experienced snow, rain, frost, and strong winds since, and the roof has performed excellently. We just need a heat wave to truly test it. While it's still early to gauge all the benefits, it does feel warmer inside, and there's minimal noise from the rain. The only hiccup was discovering we needed new roof bars, which increased the cost, but the company was accommodating in adjusting the price. Although the roofs are on the pricier side, the quality is outstanding and well worth the investment. Overall, a fantastic product from a reputable provider.
The installation team for the replacement of additional insulated roof panels was outstanding. They arrived punctually and promptly laid down protective sheets to safeguard the carpets and to collect any debris. The removal and installation of the new panels were executed efficiently, and upon completion, the area was left impeccably clean. We couldn't have asked for a better experience; truly an exceptional team.
Despite multiple requests, the company has not removed my details from their database. Their persistent spam, targeting individuals far away, is concerning and feels desperate. The content of their communications is misleading and uses high-pressure tactics. I recommend others to respond to their unsolicited mail to discourage this behavior.
The overall process was smooth, with only a slight delay on the installation day. The survey and installation were conducted professionally. I had concerns about light reduction in a nearby room, which was initially overlooked, but it has made a noticeable impact. We are generally satisfied and eager to see how it performs next summer.
