I bought a custom engraved buckle and did not read all of the request they had to do this, but they were very patient with me and made everything work out. The buckle looks great and the belt is easier than you would think to get on. I will defiantly be buying from Grip6 again.
I ordered a couple of Wallet v1.0 (initially thru Kickstarter). When they had problems with the production of the v1.0 they decided to make some changes and reward all the backers with the v2.0 instead. At that point they already had a stock of finished v1.0. They made the already assembled (but possibly faulty) v1.0 wallets available to the backers as a separate item for barely more than the cost of the raw materials rather than scrapping them (but we will still get the v2.0 as our Kickstarter reward regardless of whether we received one of the original v1.0 already or purchased some now). This speaks of serious commitment to customers and a quality product. So far I've not had any issues with one of my v1.0 wallets (I haven't used the other one yet as it's only been a few days). I've been a Grip6 customer for over 3yrs now and have always been impressed with their products and their turnaround time for in stock items. Definitely worth every penny I've spent!
Bought the wallet while waiting for the v2. Very disappointed. First wallet is too big. I realize the mechanism takes up space but after using a Ridge Wallet for several years this is just too large. Second, the wallet is not thick enough to hold all my important cards. I'll gift it to somebody else. Nice try but sticking with my Ridge Wallet.
Prototype is working great. Cards will "launch" if I ns squeezes it like one is trying to crush the darn thing. Holds 4 cards nicely. Going to try 2 more just to see how it goes.If this is the prototype, I can't wait to see V2. 0 with the case!
Just got my Grip6 wallet V1 and think it is amazing. The side trigger that pops up your cards makes getting you driver's license or credit card out a breeze. I got one with the finger loop and it is very nice. I like that I have a good hold of the wallet while getting cards out. Another Grip6 success in my opinion
I give the belts 5 stars! The website ordering not so much. There is no way to order and ship to multiple addresses, so you end up doing multiple orders for each shipping address. It would also be nice to be able to attach a card of some sort for orders sent as gifts.
I liked the idea of these belts so I ordered one. When I took it out and looked at it, I thought there was no way it was going to hold, but it sure does. It's easy to get the exact tightness and not having to worry about separate holes in the belt. I am very impressed with the strength and durability.
