Terrible experience with Gtbet casino. This is just one example of their illegal activity in many countries:
1. They allow you to select “Spain” as your country when registering, as well as validating phone numbers with the Spanish prefix “+34” and playing from a Spanish IP address, which is completely illegal and contravenes Spanish gambling regulation law 13/2011, which states that “licenses granted by other states shall not be valid in Spain.”
2. In point 2.1.2 of their “Terms and Conditions,” “Spain” does not appear in the list of prohibited countries, when it should.
3. Nor does the address of the company that, in theory, owns the casino, 3-102-947830 LIMITADA, appear in the Terms and Conditions. They claim that this company is registered in Costa Rica, but do not give the exact address anywhere on the website. There is also no information about this company on the internet.
4. The word “licensee” is mentioned ONLY ONCE in the Terms and Conditions, in point 15.3, and it is certainly not to give the name of the licensing body because, as many will know, online casinos based in Costa Rica are not required to have a gaming license, with the vulnerability that this implies for users.
5. I wrote requesting a refund of the deposits made since, if GTbet had complied with the law, I would never have been able to deposit. They did not respond to my message and simply closed my account without explanation. I contacted them via online chat and was told that GTbet Casino had the right to close my account because I had requested a refund, something that, again, DOES NOT APPEAR in the aforementioned Terms and Conditions.
