It briefly served a purpose but it has been degrading over the 6 months having more and more serious issues especially with editing and rendering videos. It can no longer keep up with AFFliks.com
and some other solid AI platforms. Since Hailuoai does not deliver the desired output quickly you have to repeatedly edit your videos. So it gets extortionately expensive as every single change that you make gobbles up a lot of credits, even a minor change. It's difficult to get Hailuoai to incorporate your footage. Frequent glitches occur even when you try to upload pictures. It should have got a lot more training before it was launched.

Scam at 100%. I paid for it, can't even use it to get a refund it is like i'm going for a job interview. Also their website has no billing setting as of today, they will send you a form knowing you can't find answers. the customer service will take hours to reply you delaying it even further.
In year 2025 I used another OpenArt. But in Feb. 2026, all in sudden I got billed by Nanonoble Ltd. Ltd. But I never used their service. Immediately I asked refund. Their support team said that it took 15 days to refund. But until now, I still haven't received my money. I have been emailing with them for more than 1 month. They still asked me to wait. Very bad service. This is not a trustworthy company.
WHEN I FIRST STARTED USING IT WAS AMAZING THEN SLOWLY OVER TIME IT KEPT HAVING TROUBLE RENDEREING VIDEOS BUT ALL THE OTHER AI PLATFORMS I USED NEVER HAD ISSUES. IT HAS GOTTEN WORSE AND WORSE WITH FACIAL CONSITANCY ALSO. YOU HAVE TO RENDER 4 OR 5 CLIPS OR MORE FOR EVERY CLIP THAT IS USABLE DUE TO IN CONSISTANCY. I PRETTY MUCH STOPPED USING IT AT ALL FOR VIDEO CLIPS. JUST NEVER WORKS ANYMORE. ITS GOOD FOR GENERATING IMAGES BUT OTHER THEN THAT I WOULD SAY NO LONGER WORTH THE MONEY. THERE ARE BETTER SITES OUT THERE. ASHAME BUT THEY NEED TO FIX THEIR ISSUES FOR SURE TO KEEP UP WITH ALL THE OTHER AI SITES. IVE USED IT FOR 5 MONTHS AND IT JUST KEEP'S GETTING WORSE
On the rare occasion they provide a good animation (i.e. vintage pics - horses going backwards; driverless buses; people walking through walls) - they can be good. My guess is that the more fails they produce, the more money it costs. Really, it's got so much worse that even a couple of months again...Scammy company and wish I'd checked Trustpilot first. Avoid. The competition is heating up and performance has got to be a LOT better than this now.
