I had a yearly subscription with hailuoai.video that I canceled before the renewal date and received written confirmation that it would not renew. Despite this, my card was charged on January 1, 2026, even though my account showed no active subscription at the time.I contacted the company immediately. Instead of reversing an unauthorized charge, they instructed me to repeat cancellation steps that were already completed and redirected me to a refund request form. I was told to wait 7–10 business days, later 15 days, for a refund.It has now been 17 days, and:No refund has been issuedNo response to my emailNo follow-up or resolutionI also contacted them through their Discord, where they claimed refunds take up to 15 days, but that deadline has now passed with no communication at all.To make matters worse, their servers are extremely slow and unreliable, making the service frustrating even when access is available.This company shows a clear lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer support. Charging customers after cancellation and then ignoring them for weeks is unacceptable. I do not recommend hailuoai.video to anyone.
Do NOT ever use this service EVER!!! I tested out over 10 different services... THIS one gave me 8 "content violations" saying that "santa claus" is a celebrity and cannot be generated. The other services had no problems. Then, I tested a music video and they said that fully dressed wooden puppets violated their content for being "sexy" like wtaf... and then, they manually reviewed it and said YUP it violates their terms. THE OTHER SERVICES HAD NO PROBLEMS!! SO I'm warning others - DO NOT GIVE THEM ONE RED CENT!! NOT ONE!!!
Total scam. After using it once, I cancelled my account, but not only did the charges continue, they showed up twice on the same bill. Have repeatedly try to close my account after seeing charges show up on my statement, but have never seen or received confirmation of closure. Finally had to report to CC company who have blocked any further charges from these scammers.
I made a single one-time purchase from MiniMax / Hailuo AI (Nanonoble PTE. LTD.) in early May and was charged again in June even though my account wasn’t on subscription. No new credits appeared, no invoice, no confirmation, no nothing. just money taken from my card.I reached out immediately with screenshots, receipts, and proof of the unauthorized charge. Over the next four months, I sent follow-up after follow-up. Their “support” repeatedly asked for information I’d already provided, claimed they “couldn’t find my form,” and then started saying my refund was “under review”… for months.Every reply came from the same canned “Maggie | Hailuo AI Team” message, with zero accountability, zero updates, and zero resolution. It’s now November, five months since the unauthorized charge, and still no refund, no explanation, no credits.This company clearly has no real customer service, no internal tracking of refund requests, and no respect for its users. If you value your time, money, and sanity, stay far away from MiniMax / Hailuo AI / Nanonoble.They’ve earned every bit of this one star. If only I could give negative stars..
This company is absolutely shameless. First, they’ve made it almost impossible to find where to cancel a subscription. Then, instead of charging after the promised 7-day free trial, they hit my card after just 4 days. On top of that, they completely ignore my emails about canceling the subscription. This feels like a trap designed to steal from customers. Stay away.
The business practice of this company is a scam. They take payment from credit card before 7 day trial is up. Their customer support is non existing. I will have to try and get my card refunded through my credit card company. Avoid and report this scam.
