Laughton Gate....We moved in our new home the week before Christmas.
From our initial visit to the sales office and speaking with Josh who is friendly and knowledgeable the whole experience of purchasing our home was stress free, he kept us well informed at ever stage and was and still is on hand to answer any questions or queries we may have.
His calm, professional manner was reassuring throughout.
Our moving in handover/demo from Josh & Ian ( site manager) was friendly and informative.
It was also reassuring to know that moving so close to the Christmas break that there was the emergency contact in the event of any issues that may occur.
We have had a few snags that have been dealt with efficiently and smoothly, this is I feel through good communication between Josh & Ian who have coordinated and organised any issues to be resolved at a convenient time to us.

We’ve had a very positive experience with Harron Homes throughout the purchase of our new-build property at the Cressacre Green development.
From the outset, the sales and purchasing process was professional, responsive, and easy to deal with. Communication was clear, questions were answered promptly, and during negotiations I genuinely felt listened to. We were able to agree a deal I was happy with before moving forward, which made the whole process feel transparent and fair.
A special mention has to go to Martin, the Site Manager, who has been outstanding. He has been approachable, proactive, and extremely helpful from the snagging phase onwards. Martin has always made himself available, whether on site or by phone, and has taken the time to explain things properly, point me in the right direction with after-sales DIY questions, and ensure any issues raised were addressed quickly and sensibly. It’s reassuring to know he’s on hand for any remedial work if needed.
The house itself is finished to a high specification and, so far, I’ve not noticed any build quality issues. The development is a great choice — the views are incredible, the site feels well thought out, and the overall finish of the property is excellent.
My only minor criticism would be that some of the optional extras felt a little overpriced. There were a few items I would have liked, but they would have been significantly cheaper to retrofit later, so I chose not to include them at the time. That said, I understand this is part of how developers operate and it didn’t detract from the overall experience.
Overall, Harron Homes have been professional throughout, easy to communicate with, and supportive both during and after the purchase. We feel well looked after and would happily recommend them based on our experience so far.
We have had the pleasure of working with Charlotte, Jamie and Rich whilst buying our house. From the start, the no-pressure approach to showing us the houses available was perfect. Charlotte is knowledgeable about the houses and the work Harron do to create their beautiful homes. We knew right away we wanted to buy a home with Harron and Charlotte truly deserves the credit for this. No question was silly, weekly updates were looked forward to and the genuine love Charlotte has for this site is contagious.
We met Rich and Jamie later in the process but felt like we already knew them as this is a team that work incredibly well together. Again, no question was considered silly and we felt supported throughout the whole process from picking the plot, understanding the work that goes into the houses, having the preplaster walkaround, managing our expectations and finally having the demonstration leading up to the big day.
Since moving, we have had the full support from both Rich and Jamie for any minor snags we have found and these have been dealt with swiftly. Where snags are still outstanding, Jamie has ensured he follows up with an idea of when this will be dealt with which ensures we know these issues haven't been forgotten about.
We absolutely love living in our new home, it truly is a dream come true. Our children constantly tell us how much they love their new house which really shows we made the right choice for our family. The neighbours have been lovely, and the lads on site have been respectful of not parking over our driveway or checking they weren't causing an issue which is always appreciated.
I really hope Harron Homes see the amazing work Charlotte, Rich and Jamie all do and the extra mile they all take because they are a true credit to the business. A huge thank you from our family to you all for making our dream a reality. If you ever need a brew, you know where we are!
My wife and I recently settled into one of the homes in a new development and had an extremely positive experience with the service throughout the process. We closely collaborated with our main contact, who was vital in helping us view properties, especially after the retirement of the person we initially reached out to. Our representative was consistently friendly, approachable, and professional, truly reflecting the caring nature of both herself and the company she represents. During the construction of our home, the site manager took the time to guide us through the various stages of the build—an experience we had never encountered before and greatly valued. Even after we moved in, both the representative and the site manager visited to ensure everything was going smoothly, which highlights their dedication to customer care. We moved into our new home at Shipley Lakeside a couple of months ago and couldn't be more satisfied with our journey with the company. From our first meeting with a representative in the showroom to the after-purchase support from the site team, everyone has been wonderful. The part exchange process for our previous property alleviated much of the stress of moving. The recommended mortgage brokers and solicitors were also a pleasure to work with. We are extremely grateful for the team's knowledge, professionalism, and kindness. Our representative even sent weekly progress photos during the build, making us feel connected to the journey.
