Highly recommend

Ordered a ‘Baileys box’ on a whim as a gift for my daughter, great service, I had never used (or heard of) this company before, immediate acknowledgement of my order, which you expect, then speedy confirmation of despatch!, received a well packaged box with great quality products and good value (my daughter will be thrilled come Christmas!) highly recommend

So disappointed

So disappointed! My first box arrived on 31st Aug and it was things I wouldn’t dream of buying - cheese popcorn nearly in its sell by date, various oat milk drinks etc so I decided to cancel. However the cut off point for cancelling was 23rd Aug! Yesterday I received my next box which is only marginally better than the first. 3 large bags of Cheezits, 2 Kind protein bars, bag of £1 Swizzels sweets, bar of Devine chocolate, 2 cans of Fentimans drinks & 2 cans of Brewdog lager. What a waste of money 🙁

Scammers.

Do not use these, they'll do everything they can to lock you into buying thier monthly boxes (which are WAY over priced for what you get) and when you ask to cancel and request a refund, they refuse point blank to give you one, claiming thier T&C's say you have to accept the next box if they've taken payment from your account. They took £16 from my account literally a day after my last box arrived which was worth about £7, seriously, there was almost nothing in it, a sachet of sports powder, the smallest packet of peanuts I've ever seen and a few seasonings and sauces and a can of cold coffee. They send you all the stock shops can't get rid of because nobody buys them.So I asked them to cancel the next order and refund me and they completely refused. The box they have taken money for, isn't even due to be posted for another 2 weeks but they claim they can't refund me as it's already being packed, rubbish. The consumer rights act 2015 says otherwise.I have had 3 boxes from these now, all heavily discounted at £8 because every time I cancel they try to get me to accept the next box at half price because apparently it will blow my mind and will have a huge secret surprise in there and guess what? It never does. Non alcoholic wine, awful flavoured snacks like cheddar cheese popcorn, curried rice crackers or vegan noodle pots, a box of salt (yes you read that correctly, a box of SALT) and weird energy drinks or sachets (they seem to have loads of these), there's not been anything decent in any of my 3 boxes and most of it either goes onto the pantry shelf never to be used or it goes in the bin as it will never get eaten. They even tried to entice me to give them another chance and they'd include a free gift in my next box, guess what? The free gift never came and wasn't in the box. They're absolute scam artists and I'm now locked into an argument to get my subscription refunded for a box they don't plan to send for at least 2 weeks. They'll do anything to get your money and will do anything to keep hold of it. They're an awful company.Do not use them, do not believe thier fake promises and do not give them your credit card details, they'll take money from you without any notification then refuse to return it to you.How they can use the word 'Yummy' in thier name astounds me, there's next to nothing yummy in thier entire stock, they claim each box is worth at least £35, rubbish, you get a tenners worth of random and often unwanted items at best. They're another one of those companies who try to grab as much cash as quickly as they can from customers and then hide behind 5 billion pages of confusing T&C's when you get in contact with them.Avoid.

Awful

Awful, so please avoid! Thought it would be a good chance to try new snacks or food items but instead, I received low quality items approaching their best before date! It wasn't even worth the reduced promo cost of £7/8 let alone the normal price. Glad I cancelled the subscription or it would have been too late otherwise and difficult to do so from the other comments on here! I could have also quite easily purchased cheaper and better quality items in discount food stores like Home Bargains. There was an alcoholic beverage in there (don't drink), a small packet of peanuts, a small packet of chicken seasoning (which had popped open and covered the other items), oat milk, buffalo sauce, an udon noodle pack, a mocha cold brew and a popcorn multipack.

Do not subscribe to this

Do not subscribe to this. I understand that the items differ from the pictures advertised and are ‘highly curated’ but I found none of the items to be of interest and could not believe that a can of IPA was included. Not being a drinker of alcohol this is completely useless to me and there should’ve been an option to opt out of alcoholic items. The items were cheap and unappetising and although I paid £6.99 as a promo offer, it wasn’t worth a penny of it. And as previously mentioned, by the time you realise how rubbish it is and you want to cancel you are already ‘too late’ and will be charged for your next box of cheap rubbish I wouldn’t look twice at in the supermarket. To top it off, the sachet of spice mix split and covered everything inside with a layer of orange dust that I had to wash off each item, before giving them away to colleagues at work as I don’t find any of it attractive enough to want to try. Save your money!

Run like the absolute wind from this…

Run like the absolute wind from this company, some really good products but customer service team are shocking and good luck getting out of that subscription, yes they put it in the print you have to cancel before the cut off 23rd I think but even if you email them it took 2 days for them to get back to me by then it was too late and they stated I missed the cut off even though I emailed to say I wanted to cancel it's an absolute scam of a company and I can see everyone else is having the same problem

disposable virtual debit card!

Definitely use disposable virtual debit card when you try them out, because if you do not like it it will be a nightmare to cancel them. There is no cancel button, and they definetly ignore your email cancel request. (Luckily I deleted the virtual card before they could have charged me for the second box)I personally did not enjoyed the first box, lots of salty snack. The beers were nice, and not sure what to do about the alcohol free champagne...I can see it would be a hit with university students, but I would not recommend if you are looking for some quality items.

Set up as a scam I think

Set up as a scam I think. If not they need some support in ethical tradingDo a lovely intro deal, using photos of delicious and healthy snacks. Reality is, deliver a box of junk food and alcohol. That first box on 25th of the month, meaning there is no way to cancel the full price following month once you see the contents (3 weeks before it's due to be shipped. Reason you cant cancel 3 weeks in advance, it's perishable food apparently, not sure this is true- this food could last a few years with the amount of additives, nothing fresh at all) The contents are poor quality, cheap and highly processed/junk food, I won't donate to food bank. Not sure how they are allowed to use those photos on website when it does not reflect reality. I haven't found any mention the box would includ alcoholic drinks (which have a higher rrp but worthless to non alcohol drinker)Just sad if this is a small company trying to make it's way, but making so many basic errors. Be more open about potential contents, stop with the false advertising and allow users to manage their own subscriptions and cancellations to avoid the slowness of the customer service responsesMuch like others mention, I emailed to cancel, as soon as first box arrived (hello at helloyummy-box dot com) - still no response to this email. Made a second attempt using the ticket/contact us on the website, no apologise for missing my cancellation email, just a reminder of the cancellation T&C's I have subscription boxes for most areas of my life, and this so far has been the most disappointing Vs the advertising/expectation. Who doesn't love a foodie treat... But this is not it...

Bin end quality goods

The quality of the goods is very poor. Imagine a meal deal at a petrol station or perhaps the selection of items that nobody wishes to buy in those odd containers near the checkouts in a shop. Bin ends of low quality, failed products, mixed in with a couple (and in our case just 2) items that are OK. Very disappointing, do not recommend.

Not great

Not great. They cancelled my subscription in error. The customer service rep was rather unpleasant really; touchy, personal and not very professional. Wouldn’t want to deal with them again
