I stayed at a property in Madrid for a month and had a very unsatisfactory experience regarding my deposit. The Issue:
The company deducted €800 from my security deposit at the end of my stay. When I asked for an itemized invoice detailing these charges, they were completely unable to provide one. Despite numerous calls and emails to their representative, I have received no response or documentation justifying this deduction. Financial Impact:
For context, €800 exceeds a full month of nursery fees for our young family. This unexpected deduction has imposed a significant financial strain on us. Pattern of Behavior:
After this incident, I did some research and found various similar accounts of the company taking substantial amounts from tenants' deposits without appropriate justification or documentation. The company's failure to provide this information seems to violate tenant rights. My Recommendation:
STAY AWAY. There are plenty of reputable rental agencies in Madrid - don't jeopardize your deposit with this company. If you care about your finances and wish to engage with a professional, transparent service, look elsewhere.
CAUTION TO FUTURE RENTERS - DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. Our rental experience in Madrid has been the worst we've ever encountered. First, the rent is exorbitant, and the apartment quality is far below what was presented. From day one, we faced numerous issues (broken toilet, black mold in the bathroom, all heaters were non-functional, and the fridge door fell off immediately). To make matters worse, their customer service is the worst I've ever experienced; they often ignored our emails or stated they 'filed a report,' only for us to have to follow up days or even weeks later before anyone came to address the problems. We are still living here and counting the days until we can leave. My partner and I will never rent from this company again, and I strongly advise others against it as well. It’s disappointing because we were looking forward to it, but the experience has been miserable. If you're looking for rentals in Madrid, consider other reputable options.
This was one of the best rentals we've ever experienced! First, the apartment is in a beautiful neighborhood, guaranteeing an incredible view, especially in the mornings. Even when it rained for two days, the view remained spectacular! Additionally, it’s conveniently located near everything, so we didn’t need to use public transport at all! Second, the apartment is as luxurious as described and shown in the photos, with stunning design and ample space, so we never felt cramped. We stayed with a small baby, and it was perfect for her to explore the surroundings :) Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the hosts were fantastic. They ensured we arrived safely even though our flight was delayed. If you want your trip to Madrid to be perfect, this is the place to stay!
This marks our third year renting from this company for our annual visit. Madrid feels like a second home largely due to the ease of booking and staying in their properties. Our host this year provided excellent assistance and was very responsive. We were very pleased with our experience and will always consider this company for our stays.

This was by far the most disappointing accommodation experience I’ve ever had — nowhere near the 'luxury' advertised. What we received was the complete opposite of a premium stay. Shockingly, the apartment was located in the same building as a backpackers' hostel, which explains the constant noise and chaos. From the moment we arrived, the problems were unending. The kitchen table was broken for nearly two weeks, all dining chairs were unusable and only replaced after four weeks, and the oven/microwave never worked despite multiple technician visits. Cooking was nearly impossible during our entire stay. For the first two months, there was relentless construction noise next door, making it impossible to work from home or have a normal conversation. Had we known this, we would have never booked. The 'luxury' bedroom had no functioning air conditioning and no blinds, making sleep very difficult until temporary blinds were installed weeks later — and even those didn’t resolve the issue. The bathroom lacked a proper exhaust fan, and an electrical outlet was dangerously close to the shower. We had to purchase basic essentials just to make the apartment livable. Nothing about this stay resembled the 'premium' experience advertised. Communication from the company was non-existent. My messages and calls went unanswered for days. I reached out to multiple staff members, yet received no acknowledgment. The compensation offered was minimal and did not reflect the disruption and additional expenses we incurred. We had a great experience with this company before, which makes this all the more disappointing. After this stay, I can’t recommend them to anyone. This was not luxury, not premium, and not professionally managed. It was a deeply frustrating experience exacerbated by a lack of accountability and care. I hope this helps others avoid making the same mistake we did.
