My phone number no longer allows me to access my Pomelo and therefore my GCash account. It just says, 'apps there seems to be a problem' and it just gives me an option to sign in again only to do the same thing. I called customer support and I've just been on hold for over an hour each time. I know they recently got bought out by a different company and they 'froze' all the charge cards with promise of credit card with higher limits. The company has no right to not allow me into my account so that I cam cancel my card and close my account. Imjust glad I had a zero balance.

Used to be good, but their rates got worse and their services went downhill. I think they sold out now anyway and I won't use the new app. Remitly and World Remit have much better rates

The rate is competitive, though there's a minimum of $500 to remit. It would be great if the minimum is $200.

Pending glitch

Normally my transfers with Pomelo is very fast and no problem at all. This time my transfer is sitting in limbo “pending” and their customer service agent said there’s nothing to worry about, it will go through, but there’s something that needs to be fixed. He didn’t know for sure what or when the problem would be solved. Apparently all transfers today are in the same situation, not just mine. I guess this is bad timing to give a review.
