Unfortunately you lost the sale as soon as I opened the door, because your sales representative said, oh you don’t look like you need a stair lift. I found I was justifying my need for it saying it was a good day. Not every disability is visible. I have days where I need assistance to get out of bed. I felt slightly uncomfortable when you phoned initially because I said that my husband had sorted a stairlift out, and was asked who it was with, was it Acorn, when I confirmed it was, he then said you were much cheaper that them, and that you could come out the next day. I understand you’re all vying for business. The man who came out was friendly but by saying I didn’t look like I needed a stairlift as soon as I opened the door really upset me, so, as I said, you won’t be getting the job
Engineer Paul turned up at expected time despite very bad weather. Explained everything well asked about the main user and their needs. Installation took the time he said it would and his attention to detail was excellent. All round good experience. We'll done Paul nice Job.
I thought the whole experience from initial phone call to final installation was quick, efficient and trouble free. Everyone involved was knowledgeable and helpful and couldn't have been more reassuring. Darroll, who installed the stairlift, was particularly so and very patient when it came to the final handover. My sister now has a new lease of life. Thank you everyone at Homelife Stairlifts.
What can I say . The engineer turned up promtly this morning ,Was very friendly . He fit the stair lift and explained every thing to me a few times , as i tend to forget things . He was very understanding and patient. I would recommend Darrol to anyone . He was approachable as i was able to ask him the same thing again without feeling anxious that he didnt have time for me . .
I will be the main user of this stairlift because of a minor disability and a recent fall on the stairs. I've been using the stairlift for several days after its installation and it has made my life a lot easier and safer. I actually look forwatd to going up and down stairs now.. The whole process of ordering and installation was a lot easier than I expected from the initial survey and verbal description to the installation where the installers visited a second time to make changes and then took a lot of time making minor changes which were partly due to our existing stairway handrails and my indecision at the time. I feel that the installers were very efficient and accommodating.
