Issues with System Performance

I resonate with the experiences shared by others. The system malfunctioned after just a few months and fails to deliver as advertised. The Smart+ mode heats to excessively high temperatures, disregarding the time of use tariff while misleadingly claiming intelligence. The support team recognized this issue and suggested switching to Smart mode to ensure tariff compliance, despite being sold on Smart+ with the promise of respecting the tariff. The Smart mode also heats 2-3 degrees above the target, and I have no control over hot water. Additionally, the holiday mode stopped functioning two days after activation, wasting energy and money. Customer service is unresponsive, making it difficult to reach them by phone, with only occasional call-backs. This costly product does not meet expectations. Is anyone interested in joining me to file a formal complaint?

Customer service is unresponsive, and it's nearly impossible to reach them by phone; they only occasionally return calls and seem uninterested in resolving the issue. Poor System Performance

In short, the customer lacks control over the system via the app. In Smart mode, the system decides how to heat your home, ignoring the provided schedule and tariff information. The company claims that it will maintain the highest temperature on the schedule, but Smart mode does not utilize the tariff data, rendering it ineffective. The app does not inform you of this oversight. Additionally, customers must pay an extra fee annually for Smart+ mode. In manual mode, the heating attempts to follow the schedule, but any slight increase in temperature causes the heat pump to operate at full power. The app lacks any feedback on performance metrics. Essentially, the system is designed for installers, who use a different app to manage all settings, leaving customers in the dark. A truly frustrating experience.

Disappointing Experience from the Beginning

The experience has been disappointing from the start. The app is functional (though basic) when everything works, but the node frequently disconnects, and the reconnection instructions are inadequate, leading to persistent connection issues. When the node is disconnected, the app becomes useless. Customer service is rarely available and very poor. Our heat pump installation required this system, and I would strongly advise others to explore different options. If you cannot effectively manage your heating system, it’s not worth it.

Think Twice Before Purchasing This Controller

I had this controller installed recently, and the installation was challenging, taking about two days to complete. It is currently set on 'Standard,' which does not seem to efficiently operate the heat pump. I need to reach out to the company for clarification on which setting would be optimal, as their website lacks the necessary information. Unfortunately, you can only leave a message. The total cost, including installation, exceeded £500. I expected much better performance. Think very carefully before purchasing this.

Limited Control with This Option

The equipment itself is adequate, but it only operates a single zone. However, the customer app offers very limited control, while the installer app appears to have more features. The control does not include settings for water flow temperature, and the set point timers are consistently overridden either by the service or the installer app. For a fee, they will offer a 'smart' system that takes direct control of your setup. After overhearing a conversation between my installer and the company, it became clear that customer concerns are a low priority, which has diminished my trust significantly. Since I turned off the system, my heating has been functioning much more efficiently.
