Homeprotect have been amazing, they’ve been supportive, quick to deal with our contents claim and patient and understanding given that my husband had a stroke so I asked for extra time and reasonable adjustments to sort out quotes etc as we’re currently the other side of the country from home as that’s where his specialists are and Danny who has been overseeing our claim has been really great with waiting for me to be able to get things done as I’ve obviously not wanted to leave my husbands side more than necessary. I’m very grateful for the support we’ve had and can genuinely recommend them to anyone.

There is a complete lack of empathy, no real support, and minimal communication. In my experience, I have never encountered a provider with such a dismissive and obstructive approach to its clients. If you are currently insured with them, do not consider renewing. This isn’t just an emotional response or bitterness; it reflects the harsh reality I faced after a recent incident. When I truly needed assistance, they failed me entirely. Please share this as a warning to others. This provider does not merit your trust or your financial investment — they will disappoint you when it counts the most.

Avoid insuring with this provider

I strongly advise against insuring with this provider. After I canceled my insurance due to the sale of my property, they charged me £71.65, which feels like a robbery. I would have understood if the cancellation fee was around £25, but this is outrageous. It's shocking that they are still in business.
