Homeserve guy was great. He was friendly, helpful and polite. He assessed the jobs and decided to replace my taps. He explained exactly what the problems were. He was very professional and completed a brilliant job. He left the room clean and tidy.

Didn't diagnose the issue, put a hole in the plasterboard then said they won't reinstate it despise what customer services chat log advised (wouldn't have bothered if they didn't lie). There was an issue identified to my partner (i was out for all of of this visit). The engineer said that they found a slight leak on the shower (word for word of what i'm told) .The engineer said its an issue they can and will fix, but if me, the partner, is hands on, i can sort it myself. Whilst yes true, it the principal that annoys me. Our massive issue is that there is a strong leak noise coming from the walls when we run any water appliance in the bathroom, it keeps tripping out our electrics, so dangerous. Job got fobbed off, now there is a hole in the wall and no clean up was attempted. Case closed Apparently hahaha

The booking wasn’t great, the wrong guy was sent first of all and the appointment time was changed last minute. The second visit was cancelled as apparently someone booked it wrong as a 30 min appointment instead of a half day appointment. The third time the engineer did turn up and was incredible. Very polite, explained everything, worked quickly and neatly, he cleared up all his mess and was approachable and a nice guy. I can’t say highly enough about the engineer that undertook the work at my house.

The gentleman who visited was very professional resolved the issues with my electrics.
There were 2 issues bought on by a lightning strike.

He replaced the light socket and 2 plug sockets and was on his way.

So efficient.

Excellent! Very helpful on the urgent call l made when we had an emergency with an unexpected escape of water from a pipe in the loft. My first call had been to my home insurance provider, where, despite having emergency cover as part of my policy, they stated they couldn’t help with the repair; pretty unbelievable! Then, fortunately I remembered that ten months ago, when notifying Anglian Water of a forthcoming house move to a different county, l had been offered a policy with Homeserve. They were everything my home insurer wasn’t! Homeserve sent someone within two hours and the problem was repaired during the call out. So pleased l signed up with them. There was a £30 excess to pay, which I had forgotten about, but it was nothing compared to my home insurer telling me their excess was £500 and they weren’t even prepared to sort out an emergency repair! (That’s the Halifax in case anyone needs to know who not to use; needless to say I will not be renewing with them.) I Would certainly recommend Homeserve after my recent very positive experience with them.

I recently dealt with a random leak and was so relieved at how easily HomeServe handled it. I honestly can’t believe how much is covered under the Electricity and Water plan. It’s made home ownership feel completely worry-free. Highly recommend for the peace of mind alone!

An isolation valve popped which means we had to turn off our water supply until the repair was made.

An isolation valve popped which means we had to turn off our water supply until the repair was made.
We logged a call at around 11am and were given an eta of between 5pm and 10pm.
The plumber actually arrived at 4pm and quickly made the repair. Our supply was back on by 4.30.
The plumber was very helpful and friendly and carried out his work extremely professionally.
Fantastic service. Thank you.

All were courteous and mindful of our property. All technicians ensured that our heating and boiler were up to par and ensured that all was well before leaving, service was very good
