I have had a great experience with Honeydew so far! I am about 1 month into Accutane treatment after struggling with acne for 15 years, my provider was so validating during our initial video call. My care coordinator has been so helpful and extremely responsive, making the process as easy and clear as possible. I like how the dashboard has a “To Do List” for you to know exactly what steps you need to take. Overall I’m very happy with my experience and my skin is already starting to clear up!
Ever since I was 13, I had extremely bad acne to the point of disfigurement. At 18, I finally decided that enough was enough and to take Accutane. Their licensed dermatologists have prescribed me, Accutane and only require online follow up visits to keep prescribing me, which is great because I’m a busy college student. I am SO glad that I found Honeydew Care. I have struggled with my skin for years and have probably spent hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on skincare with little to no success. When I decided I wanted to start Accutane, I was nervous about the time commitment, especially as a full-time college student balancing work.
However, my provider was incredibly compassionate and took the time to thoroughly educate me on all of the requirements, as well as how convenient the process would be through Honeydew. I was able to message my provider and care team 24/7 and fill my prescriptions without ever needing to leave my computer.
There were unfortunately a few instances of miscommunication that delayed my prescription by a couple of weeks. Even during those moments, though, the care team handled the situation as best as possible and never left me in the dark.
Overall, my skin is the best it has ever looked, and I am so grateful I found this company.

Despite starting their communication by saying they “didn’t want to make things difficult,” that is exactly what Honey Dew did at every turn. Instead of making the process smooth or helpful, the experience was frustrating and disappointing.
I have been a registered nurse for 20 years and have dealt with plenty of poorly run medical offices—but this company takes the cake. The lack of professionalism and genuine patient care is shocking. Thankfully, this only affected me and not an actual patient under my care.
It’s clear this company is more focused on making a dollar than helping people. I will be finding a new dermatologist who actually prioritizes patient care, and I will be sharing my experience with anyone who asks.
I'm 29 y.o., with light-to-moderate acne that's very persistent. I'm really tired of topical treatments that don't work and of dermatologists who are scared of isotretinoin. Initially, I was afraid of being rejected because my case didn't look severe enough (I had a similar experience in the past). However, I didn't have time periods with clear skin, really bad exacerbations time to time, and my mental state wasn't good because of it. Now it's my 4th month of treatment, and I feel so stupid that I haven't started it earlier.
I haven't had issues with Honeydew yet. (Except once with a minor prescription delay before the holidays. But my coordinator is absolutely great and resolved everything quickly!)

I don't need to think about the process at all - just make photos, answer questions once a month, and get my pills. The beginning, with urine/blood tests, was a little nerve-wracking, but the team did as much as possible to reduce the stress. Honestly, only my pharmacy makes trouble, not Honeydew.
You can't imagine how much better I feel now mentally. And this is entirely to their credit. I wish Honeydew luck; they are doing a really good job!
