This is the worst customer service I've ever experienced, alongside another provider. I've been a customer since I was 10, and now at 35, I find them utterly ineffective. They outsource their customer service, and the whole setup is frustrating. It’s taken days to obtain a simple bank statement, and I still don’t have it. I plan to leave this bank soon.
I am heartbroken and furious with this bank. My account was frozen without notice after a tenant paid rent early, and I was told I couldn't access my own money. I have three children to support, and this is my only income. It’s unacceptable, especially after everything I’ve been through. I’m prepared to take legal action, as this treatment is appalling.

Haley Tang at HSBC was simply excellent and very professional in dealing with my unexpected need to move funds around my account just before the Christmas holiday. She stepped into the breach when my premier Relationship Director was unavailable It’s service like this that HSBC should be justly proud of and in my view sets the bank Ona pedestal of good performance among its competitors. Traveling abroad: Notifications to approve a transaction don't work and there is no alternative. Online chat with a human just refer you to the online banking telephone number (x3). Make an international phone call to that number and you are permanently on hold. No solution other than to use a different bank, which I did.
